So you spent like hell and reapplied about 1 month later? I can totally do that!!!!!

There’s no guarantee, though; but it seems to be the only thing common among stories about successfully getting rid of the pop up. The DPs are all over the place too — some guy claims to have bought a $5 slice of pizza on an inactive card, tried reapplying, and got rid of the pop up; some report buying $500 prepaid cards with their grocery and shook the pop up that way; others spent hundreds and even thousands on their inactive cards, and still couldn’t get rid of the pop up. I don’t know if it’s a factor of how deep in the hole you are with Amex? Like how much spend will it take to make Amex view you as a “profitable” customer according to their numbers (or at least break even on the bonuses they’ve awarded to acquire you as a customer)? It’s all anecdotal and ymmv.

Do I need to register MCGC before using on Plastiq?

Yes, always.

I’ve also had trouble with Plastiq processing the MCGC when added to Plastiq directly. Adding it to Masterpass, then logging into Plastiq (if you have problems, go incognito) and adding the cards from Masterpass works.

I was excited that TPs dropped the crowd levels for our week (8/13-8/21) but I'm not counting on those numbers being totally accurate. They have WDW levels ranging from 1-4 during our stay. It is right before SWGE opens so I wouldn't be surprised if the crowds are low but these numbers seem extremely low. I typically combine crowd calendars from WDW Prep, UT, KTP and TPs into a chart and try to average out the "best park" for each day. Just started doing this during our last couple of trips and it has worked well for us.

I'm there the 7-12th and looked last night and they have it at 3-5 with most a 4. It works for me but I'm not sure it'll totally accurate. Though I will say a lot of people going to the Dis even that weekend had originally booked with the group rate at varies places and I've see a lot that rebooked either under the free dining or the AP rate to save more. There's also at least one or two that are now on site because of the deals. I didn't expect to be able to save more than the group rate so maybe they will be accurate. It'll be interesting to see how it goes. I will say looking at ADR's last week to see if we could add someone to one and if I wanted to do lunch/dinner at a sit down one evening I was surprised at all I could get for either. Only place I really want to go is Beaches and Cream and it's closed for refurb while I'm there :( so I didn't book anything after looking at prices.

Ok maybe a dumb question... but where do I find the Crowd Calendars on EasyWDW? I was trying to look this morning but when I click Crowd Calendars on the website it only pulls up stuff from 2016 and 2017.
I know this was probably already answered, but he stopped doing them when Disney stopped providing the data to do them accurately. It seems now that anybody doing them is just guessing (and many of them are guessing badly)

I picked up my daughter from college last Thursday, then made a too-brief, 3-day trip to Yellowstone, flying home from Bozeman today. I learned a little travel hack that might be useful for others. DW and I flew out with regular suitcases inside of otherwise empty larger suitcases. We are flying home on Delta with two-checked bags each, a couple of bags above the 50 pound limit. For 5000 Delta miles per passenger, I upgraded all 3 of us to first class on the short final leg of our trip. This gave us each two free checked bags up to 70 pounds each, good for the entire trip, even though we are only first class on the final leg. Online comments report that this sort of thing works for international travel also.

Thanks! I’ll see what some spend does. Can’t hurt.

I still use Touring Plans. One thing that has been worth my money is the reservation finder. :) Fingers crossed it works again for me as I didn't book a Bon Voyage breakfast and now I'm kicking myself.

Hmm interesting. You can self refer to any chase card?? From Reddit.

Chase referrals can actually work across products like Amex. This has been in effect for several years.

Get your referral link for any card you have from mobile app. Example, CIP. The link should have 10 numbers at the end.

Find the mobile app version of a referral link of any other card. You can use someone else's as a template. For example, CSP. Put your 10 digits on the back of the link.

Now you have a referral for that other card. The CIP can have a link for CSP, Freedom, Southwest, and others. You get points as if you had the card that was referred TO. For example if the person got approved for Freedom you would get 10k UR points, not 20k like CIP to CIP. But if you had a Freedom that referred to a CIP, you'd get 20k.

Points will not go pending like usual when you do this. They will post straight to balance at some point in a few weeks.

Update: actually the APP version of the link not desktop. Desktop one doesn't have 10 numbers.
Ok - I can't believe this hasn't generated any buzz yet...so I'm going to post some thoughts:

SELF-REFERRAL IS POSSIBLE ON POTENTIALLY ALL CHASE CARDS THAT OFFER SUPPORT LINKS!

You heard me right - when you have any Chase card you now can refer yourself to any other Chase card that offers a support link.

I'm going to try to type more thoughts and instructions on how to do this soon. This is pretty huge news!!

Yeah that reservation finder has been worth my money too...since you don't have to pay to use it :P HAHA! I do love it though :)

That stinks B&C will be closed for your stay. We haven’t been but will get there some day. I have been watching the room rates and discounts but we are going on a bounce back offer which still seems to be the best we can get. I am crossing my fingers hoping to see a PE deal show up for a deluxe for the 2nd portion of our split-stay. We got AKL for $177 for the first 5 nights.

This sounds pretty awesome.

I wish I knew about this when I was still getting chase cards lol

It's a fairly new loophole as it started working when they started generating codes the way they do via the app. I've been testing it myself trying to figure it out but was missing the "had to be an app" link part of the equation. When I saw that on r/churning before my lunch meeting today I was like WOW... I'll be typing up some thoughts in a guide sort of format here soon.
