Generally, GCs are excluded from earning cash back. YMMV, as I've had GCs credit before, but that's always the exception to the rule. I wouldn't buy any GCs expecting to get cash back from Ebates.

Yeah, that was my bad for not looking at it closely enough. I thought it was for in-store, and we all know “gift cards excluded” on in-store offers usually does not mean that they are actually excluded! I’m so used to Dosh and RMN, I thought some of Ebates offers were for in store too. Not this one though! My bad, sorry!

Could be ID verification since it’s his first business card.....I have read that Chase does have a max amount of credit they will extend no matter how high your income is...

Fingers crossed, I (DH lol) just applied for CIP 2 (referral from me). No immediate decision. We have too many bills (property taxes, medical bills, and Q2 estimates soon enough) to let this possibility pass by.
I've gotten to where I hate paying big bills without a MSR to meet!

I actually made a Walgreens purchase today. I believe it was 15% online with the promo. Doesn't look like Ebates offers it in store for Walgreens.

Thank you for that. I apologize, I looked at it too quickly and did not realize Walgreens was only for online. I’m so used to all of the in-store offers recently, so my brain was on that track! Apologies for a stupid question!

Went on an account-closing binge today, 9 in total. Closed some older non-AF accounts that have been dormant. Closed a couple more recent Citi accounts since they seem not to care too much about that. Feels nice to clean it up a bit.

Interesting DP- on Friday I opened Peoples Bank account for the bonus. You can fund $500 with a credit card. That $500 is currently posted on my CIP at 3x!

That's a nice surprise. I'm jealous though. I funded a Harbor One account last week and only got 1x.

How long should you wait after reducing Chase biz credit lines to go for another biz card? I know on the personal we say to wait till it reflects in your credit report, but how do you know when it reports for biz cards?

Loved the HELOC idea. Tried it out - mines with Santander I’ll report back.

DH got the dreaded pop up for Hilton biz. I wasn’t shocked since his cards haven’t seen much love since I beefed them up for his February BBP. He only has the Green biz (sees no spend), spg biz, and the BBP. I’m going to go back to some spending and try again. @Lain i know you wrote it all out but remind me when you reapplied for DW - I think they were in similar scenarios.
I still need to keep Amex happy with me - I want the Schwab plat to cash out MRs. But wanted to wait until late summer so I can sneak in 1-2 more Chase biz cards.
