Dh was denied again for the Aviator biz card. "He" applied and was denied on 3/1 - auto denial - got the letter saying they needed all this verification stuff, even though he'd been denied. I thought that was odd. We sent everything they asked for and never heard a word from them. Thought I would try again and it went pending but then few hours later, I checked the status page and he had been denied. I really do not get Barclay. Whoever called them Bar-cray was right lol!

Ugh! I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but I thought after my Barclays' denial I read you have to wait 120 days to apply again or it will be a denial.

Your statement made me check and they have also been removed from our branches.

But - the teller will accept rolled coins and will supply the rollers and also 'will accept loose change'. This was information through chat. The change happened in the last year. Not sure how much loose change...

Guess I better get to rolling....I probably have about $200 built up.

It was nice and easy the times I brought change in. Just dump it all in and it counted it and spit out a receipt to take to the window and deposit in your account.

It was convenient but many were inaccurate and usage was declining so many banks decided to pull them. (https://www.bankrate.com/finance/banking/banks-expel-coin-counting-machines.aspx) I didn't think anybody still kept them, at least, anyone that was using contracted machines. Personally, I was always short changed and my bank stopped accepting rolled coins while they had the machines. They said they'd take loose change, but it was bagged up and then machine counted anyway and you just had to accept what they ultimately deposited into your account. Was happy when I switched banks and they said they'd take the rolls and here have a bunch of papers for free! I dump the jar and roll while I'm watching TV. But then again I think the most we had at one time was about $125 so it wasn't too bad.

However I perked right up when I saw the Chase offers on my desktop! Don't know if they'll be there the next time I log in, but I'm loving it for today. I have 15% off Hyatt on my CSR which says I only have 8 days left but it absolutely never showed on my phone app before and I didn't think I saw it when I checked the email links. So I believe the reports that you may see different offers between all the access points.

Anyone here know if there are taxes and fees they will charge for the free nights? I'm trying to figure out if I can use this offer. Can I prepay for dining at the hotel? I hate to let this one get away when we are soooooo close to being able to use it.

Did “he” call in at all? My status checker also said denied even though I just needed identity verification. After I sent it all in I got another letter saying I needed to send in the documents so I called and they said I hadn’t sent a copy of the BACK of the social security card. Yes, the part with no identifying info that just says where to mail the card if it gets lost. After that, I was approved.

No taxes or fees on the rooms. You'd have to call to see if they'll let you apply a room credit.

Thanks for the info. I guess I can't complain if there aren't taxes and fees, can I? Sounds like I won't really need to use this one. I'm not sure if we will even have any charges there unless we decide to have a meal there.

Thanks for the link. The hotel I booked (for cash) is apparently one in this group (I didn't realize it until now). Is there a way to transfer points to this group, or would I need to get their card? I'm not sure I want a new set of points since I can't even tell if I could switch my booking - I can't see availability since I don't have any points.

ETA - I couldn't see a way to do it with URs, but it looks like MRs can be transferred there... Hmm. I'm kind of hoarding those right now since we are hoping to take another trip to Europe in 2020.
