I FULLY understand how you are feeling. About 20 years ago my BFF was in her car, stopped at a red light, with her 17 yo son sitting next to her. The light changed and he said you can go now and looked over to find her slumped over the wheel dead. She was 37. On October 4 of the previos year her husband died in a helicopter accident, four days after that my MIL died in a single car accident and seven months later her sudden unexplained death. And my grandfather also passed in the middle of all this. Such a challenging and questioning time for me.

Again, my sincerest condolences.

Poly used to be my fav but it’s been replaced by BC/YC. I find poly so overcrowded these days. Which surprises me cause the rates are always so high. My kids prefer the pool at BC/YC. Dh and I like the ability to walk all around the boardwalk area.

Having said that, at only $300 more total, I can definitely see your dilemma. It would be an opportunity to stay there and y’all may love it. What about a split stay? Not sure how long you are staying.

A split between poly and BC is my fav split!

I was thinking about the split too but I hate that I may not have a room til 4pm on the day we switch because we have a relaxing morning planned/pool day and evening at DHS starting at 6ish with FPs. That means DD3 may not get a nap if a room isn't ready early.

So weird. Fun and Sun disappeared for my aug dates when the offer ended for Disney on 3/24. That’s awesome you are still seeing it. You should book ASAP if you can!!

Hmm yes, definitely something to consider. Our rooms have always been ready early at BC. I don’t think we’ve ever waited past 1:00. But poly has been a different story. Not only is not usually ready early but I can almost guarantee it won’t be what we requested and I have to go see if they can accommodate us.

Is anyone working on any bank bonuses at the moment? DH and I are working on the Wells Fargo checking $400 bonus after 3 months of $3k direct deposit. DH is using his paycheck to meet. My paycheck is a pain to modify so I’m trying out ACH from my Fidelity cash account. Just curious to hear what others are working on.

I'm working on SunTrust (met all the requirements, just waiting for it to post.) And working on Wells Fargo ($200 after 10 debit transactions a month for 3 months. I'm on month 2)

When I called about my CitiBiz AA card, I was told I had 60 days from AF posting to cancel and I may get my AF back. In the future with Citi, I will lower my CL as low as possible (apparently this is a thing), then a couple weeks later close my card with them before my AF posts.

Had DH call to close but it was totally automated, cancelled his card immediately. The AF posted 2 days ago, so hopefully will refund.

I think sometimes it's not what we say back to a person that helps, more so that the person can express their confusion, loss and sorrow. It's like how can this happen? Last week you were getting ready to go to Vegas and this week your long time friend is just not here anymore? It's so not fair, but so the way our world works. Nothing is perfect and nothing stays the same. That's when we hug the ones close to us that we were getting testy with a few minutes ago and learn to value the gifts we have. Sorry if I'm rambling.

It looks like it is available dates thru 5/27. Not sure why they pulled summer discounts. I thought that was odd.

I was wondering if it is a Poly studio or a regular room? Love the studios! The extra shower is really nice and the kitchenette makes having a cup of coffee just a bit easier. Then again you may want two queens versus a sleeper sofa, but the drop down is perfect for your little one.

I need a bit of help because I can't ever decide anything.

I have had a BCV studio booked for our May trip for awhile but now need to add the first night on. I had DD looking for me to see if it is available and she said another option is poly (about $300 more than BCV total). Now I don't know what to choose. I love the Epcot resort area and we all love BC/YC. I'm torn b/c Poly is usually so overpriced these days, but with the CM discount this is an opportunity to do it. I'm worried we won't like it too much. It has been 8 years since we were there last. It will be just me and the 3 kids and then DH will pop in for 3 nights.

I'd say split, but I remember a split stay with my 3 year old missing her nap and that was a tough day. I love the Epcot area, but if this is the one chance to get the Poly for a good price I'd probably go for it. Plus the Poly is fun in the summer.

Wow! I am so sorry! I am behind and was going to go back and say that I hope your DH is recovering well. You have had a terrible week. Prayers to you and her family. It is always so hard when they are so young.
