Well "loved" it at least, probably not so much any more now that it's coding as CA - and a sneaky one at that where most cards it pends as a purchase but then have posted as a CA bypassing the CA limits on the card.

Unfortunately confirmed by one of our own with a little insider knowledge - @SouthFayetteFan's Insider Scoop (could be there's a reason he's the benevolent dictator )

I’m only “liking” these posts about PNC coding as CA because there’s no crying face or dislike option. But seriously, thank you all for the quick information and I’ve updated my original post to avoid confusing anyone.

Yes, she did. A few weeks ago she had a bad fall and had her 3rd concussion in 4 months, so we are on break for at least 6 months. The last concussion was scary and an experience I do not want to repeat (no memory of what happened, vomiting, dizziness, severe headache, sore neck). She's a hunter / jumper and was competing at the 3'6" to 4' height.

She used to spend her summers traveling with the barn to KY, NC, GA, etc. Winters are spent in Wellington, FL for the WEF circuit. That's on pause for now. The barn is trying to sell the horse (on my behalf) currently -- I think he's just too powerful for her. He's young and very athletic so he should go quickly.

What do you ride / show in?

Yikes! So sorry to hear that and hope she's ok. My husband and I both show AQHA. I started hunter/jumper when I was 6 and then got my first QH when I was 11. He turned out to have absolutely no talent for jumping whatsoever, so I sort of just fell into AQHA and have been there ever since. I show the hunter under saddle and my husband shows the western pleasure. We sold my last HUS horse over the winter and bought my husband a new western horse and I have a yearling HUS prospect now. We're in VA and our trainer is NC, but we're all over the east coast for showing. Mostly SC and PA last year. DH just won his first circuit champion with his new horse yesterday, so we were very excited for that!

Guys I don't know what to say or do anymore. You already know my one girlfriend was out for Vegas because she hurt her knee very badly. Then my husband went into a downward health spiral.

But now, I have just learned that my other girlfriend who was meeting us... died last night. At age 42 this is obviously sudden and a shock.

I feel numb. And I don't know who to talk to about this so I posted here.

You should be able to look at your statement - if they are listed there, you're going to get them soon. If they aren't listed there then you are waiting a month.

Not specifically directed at you but in general - if you wonder if partner points are going to post for Chase or Citi you can usually just check the statement to see. They'll post a few days thereafter then. (AMEX is a whole different conundrum I won't get into - checking the statement there may not help).

Good tip! DH earned 71,000 miles this statement :)

@speedyfishy have you already started your MSR on the second biz card you did without the mailer? I can DH and I can get Citi biz cards again on May 1 and if your SUB posts then I may do that. If not, I'll probably try the trick of buying one mailer and apply for us both at the same time to see if we can both get it to work off one mailer.

OMG. I am so, so sorry. How incredibly sad. Thinking of you. I don't even know what to say.

I'm so sorry. Will be thinking of you and her family.

DW was just auto-approved for the elevated Citi AA Biz $250 SC offer. Just got Premier #2 for her on April 1 as well, so it's been a good month from Citi. She got the instant card number from the AA biz - is this usable on only AA puchases, or will it work anywhere?

Working on BB&T for both of us right now. Met all the requirements, just waiting to see when they'll post.

Expect BB&T to take the full 75 days plus a few after you meet the requirements. They are very reliable but it will take the full requirements period.

I know I can't find the words to comfort you. I'll pray that God can help you, the friends, & most of all the family in this very difficult time. Untimely deaths are so sad.

So sorry to hear that. There are of course no words. Will keep you in our thoughts.

So sorry for your loss. What a string of unfortunate events. Prayers for you and your friend's family.

Oh my! I'm struck dumb. That's just so shocking and I'm so sorry for your sudden loss. Death is rarely a good feeling (as an understatement) but for the young it feels more devastating. I just don't even know what to say, just a week of tragedy and I'm so sorry you're having to go through it all at once. Ugh.

:grouphug:

Hotels for college visits (we need to visit Lehigh, Purdue, Case Western and UC Boulder) next year are the priority. George Washington (DC) is in 2 weeks (not on points -- will pay with my Aspire to get 12X points towards our Maldives trip next year).
Our biggest use of hotel points is for college visits. For Purdue, there is a decent Courtyard and a new(2 years ago) Residence Inn in Lafayette, IN about 10-15 minutes from campus. We've never stayed at the couple of hotels that are closer to campus.
When we visited Case Western, we stayed at the Courtyard within a short walk to campus.

I met the spend last week waiting for the statement to close.

I’m sorry I’m so full of questions!!

We have a trip to San Fran booked in July. We’re meeting friends from England we met on a DCL cruise a few years back. We have airfare and a rental car but that’s about it. Still forming up plans but any hotel recommendations for 3-4 nights in the city?

I don’t know what else to say except that I’m so very very sorry for your loss. Please know we are all here for you and sending thoughts and prayers your way. Keep posting, we’re listening. <<hugs>>

I'm going to say yes. You can message them and let them know that it's for an auto loan and they may make an exception. I've had to send them an invoice (for dd's horse chiropractor) as proof of a legit expense. More recently, go back and forth with them this week to allow board for dd's horse on my AmEx. It doesn't hurt to ask for re-consideration.

Thank you! I’ll try that. I have a copy of a monthly statement to show them.
