How long did yours take
DH was approved for his CIP last week (Wednesday maybe?). He received the card yesterday, put some spending on it, and the 20,000 referral bonus was pending today.

Happy to hear this! I used (probably) the same link and hope to have the same results after my next statement closes in a couple weeks. We used our trip to Tucson to put a healthy dent in P2’s United biz (and we did!) but now that we’re home, it’ll be back to my SW personal.
On a related note, what do we all do after a trip? Laundry! Except here...Our dryer seems to have bit the dust. It still runs but no heat and no drying power. It ran approximately 5 hours this afternoon but our clothes are still damp. DH might be able to fix it, but it’s old and no guarantee the fix would last, so looks like a new dryer will go on one of our cards. Question is, which one? We’ll likely buy from Lowe’s and we have 10% offers on a number of cards that haven’t already been put towards other things, like gift cards. I don’t know whether to put it on one of those cards, or on one of the two we have current MSR’s on.
We've stayed at that Fairfield tooFor what it is worth, I was able to get Choice Hotels to match my Marriott Platinum status with a simple email. Comfort Suites used to be our go to for Hersheypark weekend getaways but now it’s Fairfield Inn for the Marriott points plus it’s closer to the park.
Hey WELCOME! If you let us know your reddit name here on the thread I can get you setup.I’ve been lurking and learning a lot. I am at 5/24 but going back to 4/24 soon and hoping to plan a Disney trip for next year.
I’m also a lurker and infrequent commenter on r/churning. I would appreciate a link to the dischurners reddit so I can participate there and use support links as appropriate. As a lurker, I don’t think I can pm here to get the link (unless I’m doing something wrong).![]()
I also have 2 CIPs open now. My first is from 6/2018, and I was approved yesterday for my 2nd CIP. Used SSN and middle initial. CIP#2 is showing up on the same login as my CIP#1. And it's my 4th Chase Biz card.
I feel this one is directed at me![]()
I hate to rain on the parade...but isn't that actually the opposite, since the 800 is the more likely flight to be affected (i.e. how do you get there?)![]()
Boeing 737 Next Generation (737NG) is the overarching name given to a fleet of aircraft that began production in 1991. It includes the Boeing 737-600, Boeing 737-700, Boeing 737-800 and Boeing 737-900 — variations with different seating capacity. The 737NG featured improved fuel capacity, a 25 percent larger wing capacity, and an ability to fly 900 more nautical miles than earlier 737 models. Southwest Airlines was the world's first airline to take delivery in 1997, and by April 2012, 4,000 Boeing 737NGs had been delivered around the world.
Two decades after the debut of the 737NG, Boeing announced plans for a new model: the Boeing 737 Max 8.
If our options were this or a reduction in bonus, I’d take this all day long! In truth, the 0% intro APR on business cards made very little sense to me as a “selling feature”.DoC is reporting this [Rumor] Chase Ink Cards (Unlimited & Cash) To Lose 0% APR on or about 4/4/19.
Nobody said they were the same plane. They are simply the routes most likely to be affected by the MAX grounding as they have the same seating configuration as the MAX (both seat 175 vs the 700 which seats 143). It’s easy to snag an 800 to service what was previous a Max route (with many of the Max routes potentially being important long distance routes). So it seems anecdotally that if your plane is an “800” you have a higher likelihood of being inconvenienced. Plus the ratios I posted on the fleet earlier (there are far more 700s in service right now which in theory also reduces your odds)That's not true. The 737-800 isn't the same thing as the 737 Max 8, two different planes. Per CBS because it was the top news story that had the info I needed not because I like them any more than any other site.
Or the 737-700 & -800 are the first version of the ford escape/dodge durango and the max 8 & 9 are the newer different looking versions of the same thing. So while the flights could still get cancelled, it won't be because they are on a max 8 because it's a totally different plane. It's also more than just the Max 8's that are out of service for SW or any other airline that has them because their are always going to be planes out for maintenance issues and if they aren't getting done fast enough, something unexpected happens so it need more than an "oil change" the plane is out longer.

This is what I'm doing for Lowe's purchases right now . . . it's a bit convoluted I'll admit. I'm buying a Kroger gift card at Lowe's using my SPG Biz 10% Amex offer. Then I go to Kroger during a 4x promo deal and purchase a Lowe's gc to get the fuel points, paying with the Kroger gc (stacking those 2 deals = 24% for me). I can't recall if you have the Amex offer or not - or if your Lowe's carries Kroger cards, but if not, perhaps you could stack a 4x fuel promo with Dosh?? Although I think that Kroger Dosh deal is capped per day - maybe $5??
Then go through a rebate portal to purchase your dryer on the Lowe's site. You should be able to get a 10% off coupon for Lowe's from "quik coupons" (I've had great luck with them - use code VIP40 for a 40% discount on your coupon price). Pay on the Lowe's site with up to 5 Lowe's gift cards.
Your rebate portal cash back may not track since you'd be using a quik coupon. Sometimes I get lucky but not always.
Good luck!
Just a week. I was approved last Monday and points pending today. How long did yours take

Anyone know if there is a no fee PNC account I can downgrade to after hitting my $300 bonus? I have a need for as much of the cash as possible ($6k sitting there) before Saturday. Worse case I close it and possibly get hit with the $25 fee but still, I’d prefer to play by the rules.
