These are excellent points and have me leaning towards the Chase Freedom card. The 5% bonus rewards, plus 15 months interest free introductory offer and no annual fee sounds great. Plus I can use the bunus categories to buy gift cards for essentially 5% off. Thanks!!

I've been following along and I like your decision. I think the Chase Freedom is a good card to build on.

Yes - you should be able to refer yourself (or each other) to that card! It would come down to whether you want to earn some more MRs from the support click or $75 cash back. With AMEX branded cards, you can generate a link for ANY Amex card (just make sure it's for the BEST offer before applying).

Thanks! I know I read that once here, must have forgotten. It will have to be DH if we get one as I got the 100,000 points for the Chase Marriott Premier Plus last year. Bummer because I use Marriott points more than he does.

Shower pic as promised! The flight was great and the service was good. The shower was unexpectedly way more awesome than I anticipated. None the less, I’d rather fly the Singapore Suites again as far as over the top flights go.

Out of this world! So cool!! Can't wait to see the rest of this experience!

@SouthFayetteFan - were you anticipating/previewing this shower pic when you started looking for little yellow rubber duckies?????

Love that they have a flower in the shower and the ducky!

The singapore suites are bigger correct? The pics from yesterday made it seem like it's really not that big and that it's the other stuff that makes it "better" the shower and the lounge (that I think is there). Though I did notice they serve pepsi so that makes me not like them even if I don't drink coke that often and could go without.

It’s been pretty unreal. I can’t wait to do the review for the Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa. This place is AH-Mazing!! The gazelles and Oryx are super tame. The suite is phenomenal with your own private pool right outside the patio. This may actually top Ashford Castle and my Bonvoy points just got more interesting. Dare I say it ... I’d transfer my UR points to Marriott to come back here.

Yes the Singapore Suites are bigger on the new A380 but the Emirates suites were very nice. The service on SingaporeAir can’t be beat though. Plus they have Krug and Emirates only has Dom. I do like the orchid and they have one in each suite too. The duckie is mine. I picked him up at Party City for the shower pic. I thought it would be cute in the picture.

I figured @calypso726 had that ducky in her carry on! Since I regularly travel with little ones I keep a ducky in my bag and now also a little boat. I've done this forever when my kids were little and the toys are there also whether the kids are or not.

I loved how you put this...but I also have to ask, was that ducks IN your wallet...or ON your wallet??

Was it this kind of duck:

Or this kind:

Sorry,I had to...:rotfl2::rotfl::rotfl2:

Found it. Ok that was weird.
