Andddddd then I decided to knock out my last 6 titles to download on Hoopla for the month.

I was a hugeeeeee reader growing up but when I hit college just didn't have much time. I was so happy to start again after I graduated. Actually after graduation and Dh and I went long distance, hed be like oh I called/texted a couple times over the last 6 hours, where have you been? Uh, on the couch reading a book from cover to cover..
I turn off my wifi to keep books also. At least I did on my old Kindle, I think I have on my new Kindle Paperwhite, but not sure. But DH has a Fire and he insists that he can not do this. He says even in airplane mode the book is disabled at the correct time. Does anyone else have a Fire? Is he right? lol Cause I just assumed he was Kindle illiterate. I actually have a bunch of books that I borrowed that never fell off. I can still access them. I had wondered If I broke them by keeping them so long.
We have an old Fire and if we keep it on Airplane mode the books never expire.

I have Global Entry approval now but no card yet. Can I add it to my flights now or do I have to wait for the card? If I add now is it the membership #/PASSID listed in my account?

Not sure the number you need, but you can add it. You don't need the card for anything, it's attached to the number you provide and your passport.

Probably already discussed but I just noticed this on my Amex portal - it was not there yesterday. This is because I have a plat:

Benefit Update: With The Hotel Collection, you now get a $100 hotel credit to spend on qualifying dining, spa, and resort activities, plus a room upgrade, when available, when you book The Hotel Collection with American Express Travel. Terms apply.

They put it on the Gold Card also.

Ah, my second Marriott Bonvoy 35K free night is on it's way. Got the Amex email saying 8-12 weeks. This is my first one from my original SPG card that I've kept since 2001, and paid the AF on every year. I feel as if I'm getting something for nothing since the $95 has been a just do it for so long. June, July and August will give me the other 3 nights, with August being the 50K night.

Looking for some much needed guidance for our next card.
Me:
08/18 CIC
08/18 CFU
10/18 AMEX SPG Biz
12/18 CIP

P2:
08/18 CF
10/18 CSP
1/19 CIP (referred by me)

I would like to get the SW CP for 20 and 21 for me and then P2 for 22 and 23. Probably want to use for Hawaii flights in 20.

The 5k MSR on the CIPs have been just about right.

We have 275k URs and 110 MRs.

We are going to WDW this spring break for 4 nights, but didn't use URs for anything. Just went crazy on the DGC savings. We are staying at POP and using DME. I'm hoarding them now.

Does the CSP give us lounge access at MCO?

My first thought is to go for the CIU for me.

Please and thank you to everyone in advance.

For those with the Arrival Plus and the Aviator Biz is there a separate log in for the business cards (like Chase) or is it part of the same log in like Amex?

Also Barclays business doesn’t report on the 5/24 right?

Seriously tempted to go for it...only thing making me hesitate is the annual fee. And fact as soon as I start getting the AA miles of course Disney will disappear from their site. I have no use at all for AA miles other than Disney.

Last weekend I was complaining about having to get up so early and wait around so long before the Disney Princess races, and this morning DW and I were scoping out the Wine and Dine weekend races since registration opens this month.

I mean we're already gonna be there anyway, staying at Poly. This is the problem, this seems like a great idea right now, but stepping on that resort bus at 3:30am makes you rethink your life.

I think the CIU is a good choice. If you wanted lounge access at MCO would not be CSP. You could get the old Lux from Amex; Bonvoy Brilliant. But just heads up last time we tried to use the PP lounge it was too crowded they would not let us in.

The CSP doesn't come with Priority Pass. The CSR does though, if you want to go for that. And if so, maybe you want to do the modified double dip for CSP while you're at it (use referral from your P2). Might want to wait a full 3 months from your CIP just in case though.

I’d probably do CIU for you now, then a CIC or CIU for P2 after that. Then you could consider a MDD with the CSR/CSP in Julyish and then lay low (or focus on P2) until it’s CP time in late 2019.

Thanks for the info. I’ve never done any of the lounges, but am intrigued. I will wait a full 3 months. Thank you

@Haley R thanks DD9 now has an HP backpack and lunchbox arriving.

i agree a CIU or modified DD if you want to get the PP sooner. Then a CIC for P2. You could sprinkle in some AMEX biz cards - maybe a BBP or another SPG biz for P2. I also love my PGR so I’d recommend a spot for that at some point too.

No report to your credit at least my Barclay JB biz didn’t. Different logins than arrival + and I hate their apps not user friendly.
Got mine today. Refresh my memory, is this card good for Plastiq without lowering a cash advance?
i don’t think Plastiq would ever code as cash advance. They charge your cc as long as the card is eligible (example only mc for mortgage payments). When funding a bank acct you might need to lower the cash advance CL
