I have a parent in the same boat, they got like 15k MRs for a referral but haven't gotten a 1099. It's their only Amex referral.

Still no chase or amex here either and both would be under 600.

Haha, me too I LOVE cats. DS and DH want a dog so bad but I'm totally against it, especially after DD3 was bit in the face at a Superbowl party last weekend! She is ok, but that was so scary and I don't want one even more now.

On a CC related note, I'm trying to call Citi Cruise and Tours to see about booking a Universal room with my points and APH rate. I was put on hold and then hung up on...I hope this isn't an indication of how this is going to go...

Oh no! That happened to me when I was about DDs age, I can still see the scar in just the right light, right by my eye. But I don't remember it at all and I love dogs Cats too, but we didn't grow up with cats because my dad was allergic.

A couple years ago when the whole 1099 thing happened with Chase I received a large 1099 for numerous referrals. Apparently they reconsidered their position and they issued a corrected 1099 showing all $0. I'm not sure what they will do in this situation, but my guess would be that corrected 1099's will come to everybody who had an issue even if they are going back to $0.

Am I correct in thinking that even if a 1099 is not received one still needs to add whatever referral bonuses were received?
I did not receive a 1099 from PNC for a bank bonus, but did get one for $200, which I added to my return.

Yes, exactly. When I first watched it I did not realize how funny and true it was!!!

It's such a family joke because we all go down at different times and it's always sweltering in the guest bedroom! And they are snowbirds and when I visit them in the summer in Northern Michigan the heat is generally on too.

This was right near her eye as well! It's healing up nicely and I don't think she will have a scar. She doesn't seem afraid and still goes right after the cat. He just swipes at her now and then when he gets annoyed. I grew up with cats so I'm sure that's why I have an affinity for them versus dogs.

I would 100% put a cash bank bonus on your tax return no matter what, regardless of whether you get a 1099 or not.

We have Nest Thermostats...I have them set so you can't put the temperature above 66 in the winter or below 72 in the summer. I tell DW that she just needs to layer up a little more.

I have a tiny scar from my grandmother's dog, too! Depending on the version (I was sharing a carrot and forgot her turn OR I was teasing her)...it was probably deserved. Grumpy little dog never got less grumpy and dumb kids (not saying anyone other than I deserved the bite though) don't get smarter-my cousin who's 10 years younger than I am has an exact replica of my scar on her face.

That said, I love dogs (have 4) and have been active in rescue for a while. I don't like cats-I'm sure if I had had a farm and they could work that would be fine, but I want anything that potties inside to use the toilet (and not be a cat).

Unfortunately, so do my neighbor's cats---in our yard-- and my dogs have gotten sick from eating kitty "treats" We've tried to deter them but we're not always successful (apparently this is a delicacy to my dogs, who knew?).
