Wow that stinks. Even if they deep clean it?

Yeah. I ask for a deep clean anyway, and trust me it's not that deep. Seeing one in the lobby wouldn't be an issue, but staying in a room that had one causes issues. It can't be helped with service dogs, and people need them, so I do ask for a clean, but it's not worth the risk for me to stay there.

I’m a little embarrassed to say I’ve never even ridden it and had to look on the map to see exactly where it was. I’ll add it to the list for our upcoming trip. Every trip we try to do stuff we haven’t done before. Still need to see Hall of Presidents. Last time I thought DS was old enough to get it, we went in and there was a big line and wait until the next show. Hopefully this time.

Two of my four kiddos have dog allergies so we avoid all the resorts that allow dogs and would not even trust a deep clean.

They were the last ones done in the “old style” (low beds, no rainforest showers) and it really shows. Unfortunately it’s gonna be forever for a remodel since it was just done a couple years ago (But I completely agree, it feels rundown to us as well.)

I’m very sad for you that you’ve never done cop. We actually did it by accident on our first trip and now it’s a must every trip. Then I sing the song nonstop the rest of the trip. Dh and I quote the song a lot even at home. Whenever we complain about something changing we go “well that’s progress I guess”.....we’re kind of lame

Next time you go, do it. It's classic and very, very special. When you know the history, it's all Walt and that is so enduring.

I loved the new yc rooms! And I noticed that our floor was wet mopped there. Our rooms at pop were never mopped and our feet were always really dirty.

I left a review on the ak dah thread if you’re interested. Overall there just isn’t a lot to do there and we waited 35-40 minutes just for fop. It was a bit ridiculous.
