I was planning on cashing out some UR myself.....seems like an even better idea after the last couple of weeks.

I've been cashing mine out more and more as well. Just cashed out 100k yesterday in fact. They are just sitting there collecting dust otherwise.

I'm not trying to make you nervous!! I have been regularly cashing mine out for over a year. I just don't have any other use for them.

I don’t know that I have ever felt like ours have collected any dust but we cashed out 100,000 for the dolphin swim during our Oahu trip. The “Dolphin Excursion” group was so amazing I went back a second time myself a week later . The others slept in.

I do know you get up super early That is so awesome and maybe if I was in Oahu, I could find a spectacular use for mine lol! Mine collect dust since we are only able to go to WDW right now and UR's are useless there

Same. I want to use them for flights in about a year. I don't think it's wise to hoard too many points but I can't use them now and really want to use them in the future.

Maybe not completely useless. With DD in the DCP, your APs and 6 to fly, you could transfer a bunch to SW, find a reasonable place to stay offsite and use some for car rentals. I know DH likes onsite, but there are some really nice offsite options available.

I did the same thing and let mine build up since I had specific vacation goals. The first was our Spring Break cruise on RCCL that used a nice chunk. Then our return flight in business on United from Sydney, another large chunk.

So I see nothing wrong with saving them up for travel goals.

Agree with you on the offsite hotels....we book 2BRs and have stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and MarriottLakeshore Reserve and Royal Palms...would stay at all again....They are all larger and nicer that DVC 2BRs...

Yesterday - xmas eve - we had an at home feast. It was supposed to be family but both older darling daughter and son's girlfriend are sick, so they stayed home. I am just coming off my last day of antibiotic so kind of glad they chose to stay away - I don't need to pick up another bug.

Today is dinner at a friends house later on this afternoon. Really glad I did the big meal yesterday as turns out they are having a dish that I can't eat. (Not intentionally - I don't advertise my allergies.) I will have a nice plateful of side dishes. She sent me the menu and it all looks excellent!
