I thought they could but would have 2.5% fee added that you would need to account for. People have been using the MCGC since they have been coding at 1%.

I saw this post and immediately went to check my email to see if I had it. I want a free snuggle bear! I won’t be placing a boxed order until the last day of the promotion which is 9/1 to use my Amex gold credit so I hope they still have the bear.

A few months ago I used an Amex offer for Boxed two days before it expired. The tx went pending and didn't post until after the offer expired. I did not get the credit and I despise calling, so opportunity lost for me!

That is what my DH did a few weeks back. They wouldn't let him PC to a CF, so he went with a CFU which was an option I figure we can PC again later if/when there is a 5% category that we want to max out.

No CF? That is so arbitrary. I want to PC to a CF next month. Guess I will try HUCA?

Pay with a credit card that earns a high bonus at supermarkets, like the Amex Gold for 4x Membership Rewards Points, Amex Hilton Surpass for 6x Hilton Honors Points, or Amex Blue Cash Preferred for 6% cash back; another card that has supermarkets as its quarterly bonus category; or a card on which you're working on the MSR. OD/OM sells fixed denomination VGCs in $100 (with a $5.95 activation fee) and $200 (with a $6.95 activation fee). To maximize this deal, it’s best to buy 2x $200 VGCs, paying with a CIC for 5x UR at office supply stores.

$206.95 x 2 = $413.90 - $15 = $398.90 (a $1.10 discount off face value) x 5x UR = 1,994.5 UR

You won’t earn as many points buying $200 and $100 VGCs, and multiple $100 VGCs will increase your fees.

These $15 off deals are about as good as they get, so act fast or expect your store(s) to be picked clean within a day or two. (A few of my local Safeways have already been cleaned out of $100 VGCs, and the promo has another week left.)

Previously - whenever you buy gift cards, be vigilant that the gift card's packaging hasn't been compromised and made susceptible to being drained. @Lain shared some tips to avoid buying tampered gift cards.

Checking out flights for DH for RIC to Sarasota for January. Allegiant has a flight that is literally HALF the cost of other flights, nonstop, and has better departure/arrival times. Do I roll the dice on it? Maybe pay with his CSP so if it gets delayed/canceled, insurance will kick in to put him on another flight if there's a problem?

It’s just a $100 load. No additional fees or anything for the actual card. You’re not “losing” anything. Just not as good considering we all get discounted gift cards.

I asked about the special Epcot one on the gift card thread and multiple people said CMs said no. I am still going to try Sometimes the system can do things and employees just don’t enforce the rules.

I think Amazon is my oldest card. And we use it a lot, i'm good with 5% back on amazon, we spend a lot of money there. That's the only place I use it though. I have to admit, I've been tempted by the starbucks card. All those stars. And I don't even drink Starbucks But DH and DD do. If there were no annual fee, I'm sure we'd have it. We mostly own Apple products, but no temptation on the apple card. I don't see the appeal. DD did mention the other day that I should get one.
