Only a portion. Example: if you flew southwest on points, you only have to pay the taxes and fees for it to be covered. Hotel could’ve been DVC points, etc.

Flights via UR CSR Portal would be more than enough to cover you. $500/person so a family of 4 would cover up to $2k in expenses.

Thanks for the explanation! I knew it had it as a perk, but wasn’t exactly sure what would necessarily be covered. Glad I’ve booked June and Oct flights through the UR portal.

Sams club did not initially post cash back for my Plat APs on Ebates from 6/18. I submitted a missing cash back request and got $12.99 for each order

what did it code as and on what card? I was wondering if i might get lucky and it code travel. Then I could use the barclays to erase it and stash for next year. wishful thinking. The new price is listed as the original price, but the discount price is still the same at $865!

Now I'm nervous that my upgrade from the Biz Green to the Biz Plat won't work. 10k of spend would be a big waste if they are going to be pains about giving the points offered in the upgrade...

I had no problem with my upgrade...I think Amex likes to get (and keep) Plat members, maybe?

RE: new SW Performance Biz card. Here's the offer and MSR, which is what I figured for such a hefty sign up. What's interesting is the eligibility -

Earn 80,000 Points: This new Cardmember bonus offer is not available to either (i) current Cardmembers of this business credit card, or (ii) previous Cardmembers of this business credit card who received a new Cardmember bonus for this business credit card within the last 24 months. To qualify for your bonus points, you must make Purchases totaling $5,000 or more during the first 3 months from account opening.

Note that it says "this business card" and not any like the personals state. That's promising. And it's a reasonable AF at $199. Only $50 more than the Priority but with much more stuff.

Mine posted on my Barclays as Sams Club services. It is not currently showing as a travel item I can erase.

Hmm there must be one out there somewhere. I haven’t seen/participated in one here. I follow the passholder Facebook page and many of the news threads. You will also see it posted on the passholder page people are frantically refreshing looking for SWGE news. If you’re lucky enough to get the emails (some do, some don’t) it will also be in that. If it’s not a last minute addition, it will also be in the Mickey monitor which is mailed out to passholders (unless you’re me because something is really wrong with my communication settings). The Mickey monitors are also posted electronically online now. If you scroll all the way down in the passholder page you will see the most recent one and a link for all the old ones.

I think I started following the passholder page on Facebook but I’ll double check. I don’t think we’ll be ones to rush to the park for things like that but if we’re already there might as well

We have T-Mobile and it's just awful here. I'm wondering if it's because this is a newer town that's still being developed so they don't have a lot of towers yet. We're considering switching to AT&T, Verizon, or Cricket. I have experience with AT&T and they're not my favorite, no experience with the other two.

Haha I guess we'll see what we decide. It would be nice to have our passes activated and not have to worry about it anymore. The internet guy is supposed to come tomorrow so it would be better to go today to Disney. Now I'm convincing myself lol.

We had verizon forever. Just about 3 months ago I switched us to total wireless. Runs on verizon towers and half the price. It has been great, to the extent that I forget we switched unless the topic of carriers comes up.

Ebates excluded travel for Sams, so that’s why I guess it gave me the $12.99 per order (I don’t think entertainment was excluded).

Retail Me Not may have some decent cash back percentages, but Ebates is still my favorite cash back portal. It posts so fast and I’ve had very good luck with its customer service and missing cash back.

Today in Pest (hilly side is Buda, flat is Pest) we went on a 4 hour coffee and cakes walking tour. We rode the bus, the tram, walked a lot and ate more! Of course I took no photos of anything edible, lol.

I try to avoid it if possible but Delta always has an early morning flight out (around 7). Being able to stay inside the airport is why I even got the Hyatt card in the first place 2.5 years ago when I was a baby churner.

MCO is surprisingly busy first thing in the morning. Many times it is busier than later in the day.



I think that’s a good plan! It should be less crazy.



That is why I am so attached to at least myself or DH having a CSR. Car rental insurance is huge and not having to worry about extra coverage means a lot to me.

We have 2 CSR and use the $300 credit each every year. I’ve toyed with the idea of downgrading my husbands card because I do most of the travel planning and spending but the car rental keeps tripping me up. As far as I can tell, the credit card has to match the driver or otherwise I have to add a second driver at a cost. He drives on vacation always (I can’t drive stick) so it’s kept me from downgrading him. Am I missing something?

The standard orange magnet will get mailed to you now that the AP is activated. Like @vanjust14 mentioned, special seasonal magnets have been staying in Epcot.

You can also customize your bands online and you will receive them with the orange AP sliders in the mail. In the meantime, your old bands will work just fine. If you want an upgraded band for $10, wait to customize your bands because all the designs are sold out. The AP slider actually does nothing. You can use your AP card to enter the passholder entrance lines and you need the AP card and ID for discount.

I never got the orange magnet. I did pick up both F&G ones this year at mousegears though.

I really like how Disney has branched out to other characters. The only one I wasn't able to get was Figment during Festival of the Arts. I got one on eBay.

At first glace this looks like a pretty good deal, at least for one year. If you would use the TSA precheck or global entry, that's a $99 AF for 80,000 miles. I was hoping current Business card holders would be eligible, oh, well! Will make it much easier to get the CP.

The plain jane orange/mickey will come (usually) in the mail in a few weeks. I can send you one if you want as I have plenty...consider it a house warming present.
