I applied him for the Blue Biz in like early Nov he didn't get the pop up but then late Nov I applied him for the Gold and he got the pop up. Also, then tried the Hilton Biz a few weeks later and he got the pop up. Didn't go through with those two apps. Then got him the Amex Amazon Biz card and he got the gift card for that. Then a few weeks ago I got him the Green Personal card and no pop up. I have been putting a lot of spend on his amex cards. Got $1,000's in Disney Giftcards with the offers so I thought that's why the pop up went away

Yes worked for me. Thinks it’s capped at $19 and it takes forever to post.

it just makes no sense. I’m sorry that totally sucks. Has anyone been denied the bonus with no pop up ever? @schmass? Just wondering if anyone’s safe

They said it was "declined because of the welcome bonus history" didn't say abuse or anything.

i typically buy a visa gift card at walgreens, using Pei to cover a portion of the fee.

Not sure if all Walgreens are created equal because I could have sworn mine allowed no visa gc purchases with a cc...But will double check.

My rite aid doesn’t allow with a cc but I’m sure it depends on region or even individual store. I’ve been to quite a few wg lately and they just remind you the card can’t be returned. CVS scans your license so can’t really abuse them!

by stores here. i have 1 store here with that policy and 2 stores that allow it no problems. i do have 1 store that also sometimes tells me no to credit too.

Also, is this normal? I met the SW plus spend with $2300+ in spend. Those points have posted to SW but the 50k has not. Statement closed yesterday.

I’ve had problems with mine too. DH called and was told that I would eventually get it, but if since I met the spend so close to the statement close date, it may not show up till the next statement date. Aggravating bc I have flights to book and need those points!

having a bad couple of days here. Got shut down buying a money order at my go to store yesterday and now today Amex is denying SO's Blue Biz bonus. He did not get the pop up for that card. Ugh, I used his card to pay for our wedding deposit. I could have put it on one the other 6 cards im working on meeting MSR for. I have been hitting Amex hard so I guess I shouldn't complain. Ugh, I'm upset tho. He has never cancelled an Amex card. He has gotten 6 cards since Feb 2018.

Trying to make some sense of this. So between Feb and Nov he got 3 other AmEx cards? Were there continued spend on those - consistent or sporadic?

ETA: My CSR AF will post 2/1. I'm going to add DH back on as AU in Feb and I'm betting the $75 AU fee won't post until Feb 2020. I plan on CSR being a keeper card for me as long as I have at least 22000 URs to spend.

This would be good to know. I am switching the CSR from me to DH. He was just approved and I will cancel in Feb (AF on 2/1). If I could add myself as an AU and not pay the $75 fee, that would be great. I am going to miss having that card. Of course, I was just planning to carry his!

Right??? It took MIL an hour to get to her first school yesterday, normally it's maybe 15min. And then most of her kids she needs to see weren't there anyways.

Yes, I purchased a $50 gift card and got $15 credited back. It did take a few days before the offer even said it was redeemed, but it did go through.

My SW bus bonus posted today, was already able to add my companion and thankfully all the flights had seats!

I did it Sunday afternoon! in less than an hour I had canceled and applied the CP to all our needed flights,and booked a couple more...I've never used my points so fast before! DH is right to be getting nervous lol- the other night I told him I'd like to fly out to DL just for a day to go into the parks and eat all the special foods,and then fly home and he got all riled up at me! I think in retrospect he believed I was truly gonna hop on a plane the next day....( I wish my stash was that big!)
