On CIP, yes.
Of course it happens when I have a $5,000 MSR to meet for my new Bonvoy card

On CIP, yes.
Same here, not posted but pending as 3x.Just to add that my Plastiq payment hasn't posted yet, but I'm seeing additional points pending in the amount of my Plastiq payment x3. Looks good.
Boo well that would have been too good to be true!!!!!DPs of recent Venmo payments in yesterday's thread say no -- only 1x.
They are giving us 75k URs after the close. That doesn’t help us fly down though unfortunately.Did you get 75k URs for your mortgage? They keep sending me that offer. Our current mortgage is with Chase, but only because they bought it.

My DD20 app'd for the Marriott card and was denied. Reasons included too much credit extended (she has a Discover 2018 and a university credit union visa 2017, AU on my Capital one and CF) and credit score 763.
Maybe SW is easier?
We’re almost done with our CIP MSR but I don’t want to open a new card before we leave for Japan.Always be MSRing.
Anyone travel long distances with cats before? It would be about a 20 hour drive to our new house. I’m really considering driving rather than flying but that’s a long freaking drive with 2 cats.

Ok...just applied for CIP for DH. No instant approval. Hoping for the best.
And I sitting here like when in the bleep is my card going to arrive....I won't even get into the ridiculous call I had with them to set up DH's account a few days ago. What a nightmare!
On another note, I got my Paypal money back!!!!
Well that Plastiq mortgage payment was easy - PNC didn't apply it correctly so I did have to make a quick 15 min. phone call to get that straightened out. I wanted that one handled before I did it again so I'm on step two of my plan to make the 2nd $500 pmt for $0 in fees. Just completed that nowGuys - I'm officially in the Plastiq game. Signed up (via a DISchurners link of course - & PMed that person)and made a $500 add'l principal payment on my mortgage.
A few additional notes:
EDIT: My $500 FFD already posted
- In addition to the "support" offer of $500 FFD after paying $500 in bills, I also was offered $50 FFD just for signing up
- So on my initial $500 payment, I got the 1% MC promo discount (it does show up as a "promo" by the way) and the $50 FFD so it only cost me $6.75 to make this $500 payment.
- Then once the support offer posts, I'll make another $500 pmt for $0 in fees! That will make a dent in my CitiBiz AA MSR

The rest of my plan then is:
Anyways - figured I'd share for anybody on the fence about using Plastiq! Of course, since paying a mortgage is kosher with MC it makes this so easy (until my mortgage is gone here pretty soon though)
- Have my wife signup using my link
- Repeat the same process above for her (hopefully paying $1,000 towards the mortgage for only $6.75)
- I'll also earn another $1,000 in FFD from her signup and we'll pay that too...
- This really seems too easy...$3,000 in MSR towards my mortgage for $13.50.....WOW!
Overall I'm impressed with how Plastiq works. I have VERY limited use for it as my mortgage could be gone by the end of the year. Do you think I could use it to payoff a HELOC? I seem to recall reading about people doing this. I could just borrow $2k on my HELOC, immediately pay it off with an AA Biz, And pay < $3 interest and $50 in Plastiq fee for my 40k AA miles (hopefully 60k after the match)...
Thanks - I remember reading it but it meant nothing to me at the time. That could be my easy path to hitting 8 AA Biz MSRs a year...Yes, folks were hitting this hard as a way of MS/hitting MSR.

My husband drove from California to Boise with our two cats (about 10 hours). It sounded pretty hellish. If he didn't dislike flying so much, I think he'd choose not to drive with them if he had a do-over. He did get something from the vet to relax them, but it was pretty much non-stop meowing for the drive and quite a bit of poop to clean up....
We drove about 20 hours when we moved across the country with both our cats. We stopped one night in between at a pet-friendly hotel to give them (and us) a break. It was a long drive. We got a prescription for kitty [insert banned anti-anxiety med name here???] - one cat took it and mostly slept, the other cat refused to take the pill and meowed/whined the entire time. Cats get carsick/motionsick, so the meowing is a manifestation of that nausea. We put both in cages so they wouldn't be crawling everywhere while we were trying to drive, and had a litter box for them to use when we made pit stops (they never used it).
It was a long, long drive, but they - and we - made it. Remember that if you opt to fly them, airlines now require that they not be sedated. It's going to be tough on them but easier on you. It's your choice.
I am so glad to see the news about plastiq and CIP!! I am going to hurry and pay my property tax to finish off my CIP MSR before they take the 3x away again.Just to add that my Plastiq payment hasn't posted yet, but I'm seeing additional points in the amount of my Plastiq payment x3. Looks good.
