I've never seen the movie Waterworld (my DH said it's actually one of his faves) but I have heard incredible things about the show. It's supposed to be the best in the theme park business. I believe it just won an award for being the longest running top rated show. It's definitely on my list if I ever make it back to USH (I haven't been since the late 90s)

I don't love the movie, but we saw this show at USH years ago. It was a fun stunt show, better than Indy at DHS IMHO. It's definitely worth checking it out if you find yourself at that park.

I was psyched to find it available through the Amex Fine Hotels program, and that it was a Marriott property. We got 2x upgraded (suite reward used to get us to a junior suite, then the AFH upgrade got us to a 1 bedroom suite). Such a great experience - super classy, but understated and designed for comfort rather than show. We blew a whole bunch of points, but considering that according to the website our room would have been over $1k for the night, I thought I hadn't done too badly (I felt like @calypso726 for a minute).

As DH was leaving the house he was putting on his helmet saying "I really hate wearing this thing, but I'm trying to model good behavior". Thank god he did - it could have been way worse. He used to bike to work regularly - that freaked me out a lot just because not that many people bike around here and drivers can be idiots.

So scary! I'm glad he did wear his helmet. I hope you are both on the mend tonight. And I really appreciate your hotel reviews on the other thread.

Also, DON'T do the email, that takes forever. Just copy and paste the link.

Thank you. I downloaded the app and sent myself an email under "send now". The email came, I applied thru it and it went pending:confused: and my credit score went down 6 points automatically. Can't believe how quick the credit check effects your credit limit. Went from 805 to 796 :confused3, not exceptional anymore!

Well, I feel like a goof. Just realized my new Barclay's Aviator personal only requires 1 purchase along with the annual fee payment to get the 60K bonus. I was thinking I had to spend $1k - must have been confusing the personal with the business versions. Anyway, good news and glad I noticed this before spending.

@wendow I hope your daughter feels better soon. So hard to see them in pain.

One never does get used to the sensation of coffee shooting out of their nose while drinking and laughing. Thanks for that ... I think. :rotfl2:

805 - 796 = 9 :lmao: Sorry - I just made it worse for you! You’re still exceptional in my book - I don’t care what FAKO says. :rotfl2:

For what it’s worth, I stopped caring about my credit score around 4 years ago. As long as I can get approved for more cards (ie 750+) I place no value in the actual score.

Quoting myself - Anyone?
For a credit, AMEX will actually just send back to your bank account. When I asked for a check, they said “we will just deposit in the account you paid with.” Not sure about Chase, you could SM to ask.
Are you confusing this with some other change...SW bonus waiting period has always been 24 months. Are you thinking about when CSR/CSP went to 48 months?

EDIT: OR are you thinking of the 1 SW personal rule?
I guess I am confused
