Is there bus transportation directly from the bus depot in front of MK to DHS? If not, this is what I was thinking of doing-take the Yacht and Beach Club bus. Then, when I get off at YC, go directly through the resort, out the back door to the boardwalk and head on down the walkway to DHS. I've stayed at Beach Club many times, and know that route well. Since I'll be on a scooter, it's a pleasant trip-one of the few times when having a scooter is an advantage! Does that seem OK, or am I wrong about not thinking there's a direct bus I can take?

If you just miss a bus to Hollywood Studios from the Magic Kingdom, you could take a Boardwalk or Yacht/Beach Club bus and walk (or scoot) from there, but that may not save time versus waiting for the next bus.

Walking from Boardwalk will be quicker than from Yacht/Beach, because from Yacht Club you would need to go past the Swan and Dolphin to get to the Boardwalk walking path.

You could also get on the boat to Hollywood Studios from the Crescent Lake resorts, although that boat always feels like it's slower than walking.

I can definitely beat the boat on foot if you include it making all stops. If you are getting on at the last stop before it hits HS, then that would be faster unless you literally run that path.

My wife and I will be at WDW the 2nd week in December and checking on park to park transportation. So Disney has this available and to Disney Springs? Last time I heard about this benefit, we had to pay a premium price.

Park to park yes, Disney has free busses. No direct busses from the parks to Disney Springs. You can take the Saratoga Resort bus and walk to Disney Springs, or go from the park to a resort and take the Disney Springs bus.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread the Park to park buses start at 10 AM. They no longer have buses to Disney Springs from the parks. You would need an indirect route to a Disney hotel, and then to Disney Springs or from DS to a Disney resort and then to any park.

There are no fees for the bus transportation.

The paid park to park was a test. The service was dropped years ago (pre covid).

You went directly from park to park, bypassing the need for security or ticket scanning when entering the next park
