which deck you actually enter into upon embarkation from Port Canaveral...

You enter and exit through the same deck as the atrium. That is deck 3.
 

no - deck 1 for many ports that you dock at (Cozumel, Falmouth, CC), deck 2 for tendering, deck 4 for boarding in Miami..... Lots of different options

Curious why you wouldn't tender from Deck 1 as it's closer to the waterline?

the tender boats that i have been on in Grand Caymen and St Johns both were double decker, so it was at deck 2. I'm sure there a ports with tenders from level one too. That is just my experience.
