First of all I did NOT want to go, I wanted to drool over Denzel at Man on Fire.... :smooth:

But being Mommy dearest, and a Universal mod, I thought I'd better go see Shrek 2...

Well, needless to say my poor kid was just EMBARRASSED at my guffawing, not to mention all of the other adults in stitches at most of the humor that went over the heads of kids like a 747! The movie was HYSTERICAL!!

I have to give KUDOS to the Antonio Banderas cat!! I have NEVER been a fan of his but he was da BOMB as the kitty! What a cutie!

::yes:: DH and I saw it last night - the kitty was ADORABLE! My kitties have that exact same look.

So that was YOU snorting in the back row?;)

Antonio Banderas, despite his heat factor has amazing comic abilities.:smooth:

I laughed a lot during Shrek 2 myself. I loved the movie, I'm eager to see it again in fact.

We just saw it.
Great, great, great:bounce: :Pinkbounc

When the fireworks went off over the castle, it reminded me of Wishes.:hyper:

I enjoyed the movie with my sons this weekend. That cat with the BIG eyes was absolutely adorable and hilarius!!:teeth:

We all went this afternoon and absolutely loved it! Very funny movie.

The funniest scene - kitty on the horse licking his... OMG I was laughing so hard. That was a very funny movie.
::yes::

We went yesterday to see this movie!! My DH and I were laughing hysterically while the kids didn't some times get it....Pinocchio with the thong!!! Ha-Ha!!!! and Puss.....in boots!!! This movie made my side hurt I was laughing so much!

LOL! Last time all of the lines were Eddie Murphy's, this time it was Antonio (whodaTHUNKit) Banderas'!!

Believe it or not I have a cat who has that adorable kitty face permanently on her face! Even my other cats can't resist her! Awwwwwwww.....

We went Friday night... I thought it was hilarious!!! DD really liked it, too!! She laughed alot, even at things she didn't get ;) I loved Puss in Boots also... he definitely made the show... I am also glad I had read somewhere on the DIS to stay through the credits... ;)

DH and I took his son (9) to see it - and yes, we laughed more than he did. He really liked the movie, but there were so many things that he was way too young to understand.

When Puss was cleaning..um..himself, I just about died. Such a cat thing to do!

And Larry King as the ugly stepsister - how funny is that???

I have to agree! Puss in Boots made the movie! Oh my! My stomach hurt from laughing so hard! And, I completely agree, the adults laughed harder than the kids!

I will be taking my kids to see it tomorrow, I know we will like it. And yes MY Antonio Banderas is one hot dude with a good sense of humor!!

I know what you mean. I was in tears trying to keep myself from laughing. It was great. It was much better than the first one. I keep debating whether or not I'm gonna go see it again. Between donkey and the cat, that made the whole movie::yes::

That is TOOOOO funny Robin! Me and my girlfriend took our kids last week and embarrassed them too! :p We were dying of laughter from the beginning to end.

And I so agree - HUGE thumbs up to Antonio Banderas -- he has really found his niche in comedy - between his role in Shrek II and the Spy Kids movies, he has totally won me over when I don't care for him so much as a dramatic actor.

Very funny movie........for adults.
The kids (age 5, 6, 7) got bored with it about half way through. One asked to go home. It's a lot of adult humor that goes over their heads. None of the kids were saying how much they liked it when it was over.
