Just wondering if the following situation would be allowed or if someone would tell us to get a taxi....we are staying at the Buena Vista Suites for 4 nights and POFQ for 2 nights. Could we get on the BV shuttle to one of the parks when we check out with our luggage then take one of the Disney buses to POFQ from one of the parks? I don't know if either the BV shuttle driver or one of the Disney bus drivers would say we can't get on with luggage. I don't know how much a taxi would be from BV Suites to POFQ but I was wondering if we could do it for free using the shuttles. Does anyone know if there's a policy in place about no luggage on the shuttles?

I believe that luggage is not allowed on WDW buses. I have no idea about the shuttle - you'd probably have to contact the hotel.

You can't get there from here; even if BV allowed you to put luggage on the shuttle - which I truly doubt it, when you got to DTD, you couldn't put your luggage on the water taxi to POFQ either.

You will need to take a cab.

I know when we stayed at OKW, people got on the bus with their luggage, but they did get off at the front desk, so maybe you can only get on with luggage at the resort and get off at the front desk.

Thanks everyone! You have confirmed what I suspected. I do realize it would be extremely inconvenient to have luggage taking up room on the WDW buses. I'll be cabbing it!

Are you sure regarding luggage on WDW buses? I've seen people with carry on size bags get on WDW buses. It could be policy but, maybe the drivers are not willing to confront the guests in order to enforce it.

You can carry carry on size luggage on Magical Express buses from the airport to the resort and vice versa. But you cannot take luggage on the WDW buses that take you to and from the resorts and parks.

Judging by your answer, I'm guessing you already know this but for those that don't. The ME and Cruise Line buses are not owned or operated by Disney. They're a private company hired by WDW. The drivers are not Disney CMs or go through the Disney training and tend not conduct themselves per Disney guidelines.
