This model is not what it looks like IMO! It is a VERY tight coaster actually.

We have video with the lights on in SM. We were on TTA and SM was closed for rehab. It was very cool DH stayed on for three passes to try and get me to see it wasn't so bad! LOL!!

I've seen Space Mtn with the lights on a couple of times, no big deal really, just an inside roller coaster. However, when I was 18-20 years old, I worked at the POC ride and naturally we saw the ride with the lights on all of the time. One of my best Disney experiences actually involves the "removal of the magic" when once POC was going under a refurbishment for a few months in the early 90s. They drained all of the water out of there and so me and a buddy WALKED the whole boat trail from beginning to end. We climbed up on the sides at certain locations throughout the ride and messed around with things (swords, ingots, a pillory, etc.), it was GREAT! I'll never forget that.

Why??

It was during a storm, the power went out, the ride stopped. It was in the evening, we had been at the park all day, and there was this bird that kept dipping its head down next to the boat, with my grandfather right there next to it. We were there for quite a while and my grandfather started getting loud about how nothing was being done and that the bird was annoying him. Finally they asked our family if we could step up on the side, where they led us to the door, where there were cast members who led us to the front gate for causing a commotion.
