Since this is a Disney fan site...but is there anyone who posts here who has never been to WDW or Disneyland?

Just curious.

I've been to WDW, Blondie, but I'm not a Disneyophile. I don't know most of the movies, the songs or anything else. I just came here for information and ended up staying.

Strange, no?

I'm more a disney theme park fan, than a clothes/knick-knack/pin/disneypaint/movie fan. When our boys were younger, we watched the movies, but now that they are 12 and 13, they have no interest in watching the ones we have on VHS, nor do they care to see them in the theaters.

I know our friend Goofball has not, and she is really hoping to soon. I hope soon for her also.

I'm embarassed to say, but I've never even been to Florida (well, at the Miami airport for about 1/2 hour, but that's it).

Hi ~Victoria~. Welcome to the DIS :D

There was a thread similar to this one a few weeks ago on another board and there were three or four posters who hadn't been. I think it's cool that they have access to all the DIS resources before their first trip. Gives them a better opportunity to have an even better time if they know what they are doing before their feet hit the ground in Orlando.

I would like to go, but I'm newly single and don't have any kids, and I'm 35 - in a way I feel like it's "kid stuff," but in a way I don't want to never have gone, know what I mean?

I've seen a video about WDW and wanted to stay at that animal park resort, b/c I love animals and figured that would be a neat place.

It's just that I also want to go to Hawaii and Italy, and WDW, although I bet a LOT of fun, seems not as "cool" as the other two places.

First visit coming up soon.
Found this site....and got addicted....so much useful information on it....

Thanks to all of you:wave: :D

Check out the Disney for Adults and Solo Travelers board. There are plenty of people that go alone. When I was living by myself I never gave going to Disney alone a single thought because it just didn't seem right to go to a "family place" alone. Now I think of all the trips I could have taken during that time and I probably would have had a blast. I doubt you would regret taking a trip to WDW alone.

I've been to WDW only twice - once when I was 17 and the second time in 10/00, which is how I found this place.

I've never been to Disneyland.

And gina, I'm not a Disneyophile either. I don't shop at the Disney Store or have a huge Disney collection of anything. I don't go to all the Disney movies, nor do I buy them. Nor do I know the songs, etc.

I've been to WDW but never to DL. It's on my very long "To Do" list though. Even if it's not for many years, I'll get there eventually.:D

I have been both places - but would love to go to Tokyo Disney! It looks so cool!

Victoria - my single brother came with us a few years ago. He had planned to roam around the parks while we took our kids on the rides. The first ride we did (it always makes us feel great!) was Peter Pan. He was shocked I was going on - so I told him to jump in the boat with me!

That was it! He saw it was not "kid stuff" and went on every ride he came across. Oh, he was 47 years old!

GO! You'll have a ball.
