From previous posts, I know that there are quite a few people on here who share my passion for cars...specifically Mustangs and other fords...
So if any of you are close by to Jersey, I thought this might interest you!
It's going to be a lot of fun, plenty of nice Mustangs, Lightnings, etc....

I would love to go, but can't make it.

Had a '68 GT 350 Shelby way back in '71 but had to sell it to pay for last year in college. Drove it to Newark every day and came out of class one day and found it missing. Three days later got call from police, it was found 2 spots from where I had it parked. Not a pretty sight.

Raced my first car at Raceway Park and won! BS/VW. Could hear announcer on my practice run (22.82seconds) saying that his Grandmother could go down the track faster in her Model T, backwards!
Had choice of $10.00 or trophy. Took trophy and have time sheet taped to bottom. Improved to 22.27 @ 57.32mph, smoken

I'm kind of curious as to what my stock 6-cyl time would be...haha Don't have the guts to race her though...or the heart!

Anyways-I just wanted to add that the turn out for this event was pretty good last year, and we're looking to make this year even better! If you know anyone in the area who might be interested, it's guaranteed to be a lot of fun!
I myself will be volunteerind at the registration tent, so if you do get to come, make sure you say hello!

Wish I was a little closer to New Jersey, I am a Mustang addict. As a matter of fact DH and I just bought a 5.0 convertible this past weekend. And honest to goodness it is the eighth Mustang we have owned, we have this habit of buying one every spring, this one is the third convertible, and I have had a smile all week. Hope all that can attend have a great time.
