Can you please tell me what kind of discounts you were able to get for the first two weeks of December 2006 at WL? I'm planning a trip for early December 2007 and wondering if there were AP (or other) discounts during this time in 2006 and, if so, what they were.

We used a Disney Visa code that was open to the general public a few days after the card holders and saved quite a bit. My original ressie was at All Star Sports and we were able to upgrade to CSR for $800 less. We could have gotten one room at a delux for about the same as 2 rooms at CSR but with our kids being teenagers, we didn't think we could spend 10 days sharing beds and baths.

There were AP discounts for parts of December, however, there was a blackout for a few days early December (Dec. 3-8?). We are guessing that the Pop Warner groups was in and the resorts were at capacity, so no need to offer a discount to fill rooms when they are already full. I think mousesavers would have the actual wording (of course I probably saved my AP email too that has it listed).

but what was the deal offered? like free upgrades, x percent off, values/mods/deluxes for $x/y/z off???

Op I've asked this a couple of times and havent gotten an answer so I'm anxiously awaiting as well. I've searched the net several times and can only come up with it was offered but not what it is.

I don't mean to be a pest, but it sounds like a couple of us are curious about this, so I was hoping moving it to the top again might get an answer.

The question is: Were there AP discounts (or others that were available to the general public) on deluxe resorts in Dec. 2006 and, if so, what was the discount % or the room rate?
