earlier this year, we mulled over the resort options and discussed staying at POR or POFQ. I was up for either one and so was Gabby. I love the look of the resorts and the areas that they represent. However, I kept being distracted by all these threads talking about CSR. When it came down to time to book, I went with CSR. Recently, I had been regretting that decision some. I don't think the resort is all the pretty.....at least not in the pictures, but then again, I don't think pictures do justice to any of the resorts. I had really wanted to stay at POFQ because it just looked really romantic and would be the closest that I could get to New Orleans for a couple of more years.
Now, we are just a couple of weeks past Katrina. Katrina who wrecked the gulf coast.....and my chances of ever seeing the New Orleans that once was. I think that it's a blessing that I didn't book at POR or POFQ. I would be bummed the whole time thinking about the outside world and all that was lost this year. I booked CSR.....thank God for all you folks posting like crazy about how great CSR is. You saved me from having a vacation of heartbreak. Maggie
