I Know It's Early But Who Is Going In July???

We just got back 3 weeks ago and have to put those AP's to use again. We will be staying at the Ft. Wilderness cabins for the first time. I was waiting for AP rates to come out before I booked but may need to do anyway to make sure we have rooms. We have at least reserved the 3 seater electric cart that is supposedly so important.
Our party will consist of:
me (37)
DH (47)
DD (3)
DD (7, by 2 days)
Dcousin(10YO, her first trip)
D MiL (70)
Dreading the crowds, heat, and tour groups but we go at least twice a year so we don't feel the need to "see everything" and we are from Texas where the heat and humidity are the same that time of year anyway.

July 12-20th

I'm going solo from July 25 - August 1 and staying at BCV!!! I can't wait:Pinkbounc

AnnaS,

As far as the green ribbons go, you can purchase ribbon bows, if you can find them, or just buy some green ribbon, and tie it onto your purse or backpack or whatever.

Some people buy lime green curling ribbon from Hallmark. As long as it is green, you will be recognized.

I have a lanyard keychain that I hand on my bag. It's made out of the plastic strings that alot of kids use at summer camps. It has beads on it that spell out "Cindala".:teeth:

We'll be going July 12 thru the 26th hopefully staying at the BWI just waiting for codes or discounts using AP. Last 4 days will be at Universal at the RP......

dbail2,

I think alot of us are waiting patiently for codes and discounts!!! The deluxe resorts value season starts on July 4th, so usually there are some discounts around that time. Here's hoping!!!:teeth:

We'll be there July 9-15. The 9-12 is at Coronado Springs for the Children With Diabetes Conference. The 13-15 is yet to be determined--waiting for the codes!

We have never been in July or anywhere near it--just October, December and February. So it's a whole new packing a planning experience for me.

TripletDad--check out the Orlando Forums--I'm sure you can get some info on your hotel there.

We always go in May. We know it will be Hot. But how hot unbearable? How are the lines?. Is there humidity. Its been 92 in May. We are preparing for lines and heat. The plan is parks early
pool miday, Parks night.
Thanks

JACKNAG,

"The plan is parks early pool miday, Parks night" , is exactly the plan to follow in July. We go to WDW every July, and we have seen it all. Some years it is very hot and humid, but I must say, the last 4 of 5 years it has been cooler in Florida than in NJ! NJ has some pretty stinky summers too!

Yes, there are crowds, but the parks are open later, and the crowds are dispersed through several weeks, not like at Christmas, or Easter. Go to the parks in the morning and again in the evening after dinner. Spend the heat of the day at the pool. Make priority seating reservations, and use Fast Pass. All that is required for going this time of year, is more advanced planning. :):):)

We will be there July 4 through 13 staying at the Polynesian for the second time. It will be myself, DH, and DS 7. Yes, it is very hot in July, and those water bottles with the fan attached are wonderful as you are waiting in line or just walking around the parks. We go every July, and can't wait for some warmth....very cold and snowy here this winter! My hubby and I are heading down to Port Orleans in a week, so that will be a nice reminder as to how great the Florida sunshine can be. And like everyone else, I am waiting for those summer codes! I keep checking on the Disney Club website, but so far no luck. They have got to be out pretty soon....

Laura

We'll be there July 4-12.

7/4 - VWL
7/5 - BCV
7/6-7/11 - OKW
7/12 - BWV

It just won't come soon enough!

If there are AP discounts, I'll be there from July 4-7 for my 4-day weekend from work. I want CBR or CS (I was at CS last year and I love it there). Last year I went to MGM for dinner and fireworks, I think this year it will be Epcot, so CBR is a good location.

July is Water Park Season...but to quote the Doobie Brothers, if it rains, I don't care, don't make no difference to me.

We're going July 20- July 29 for our honeymoon!! Staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge and I can't wait!!!
Kathy

We will be heading down 7/26 to 8/3 for a great time at CBR. If deluxe discounts come up we may just have to try somewhere else...Maybe BC/YC:bounce:

We'll be there July 6-13th at CBR and then 13-17th at RP at Universal. I can't wait :Pinkbounc We usually have to go in the summer due to kids school but the heat and crowds don't bother us. It's Disney after all...;)
