Just reading about all the people going Easter week. I was wondering who is going Thanksgiving week and if you have booked your flights yet.

I am going Nov. 19 -25 and I have my flights booked.

Midwest Express
leaving Milwaukee - 7:25 am arriving at 10:35 am
leaving Orlando - 6:50 pm - arriving Home :guilty: 8:37 pm

Price per ticket 217.40

I'm not going to WDW at Thanksgiving this year, but I've already made a frequent-flyer reservation for my daughter to fly home from college for Thanksgiving. It's not too early to book holiday travel, especially if you are using FF miles.

We will be going this early November. We have been biting at the bit before we can buy our tickets (finacial reasons). We are thinking that we will order ours by the end of march! So go w/the flow. Nothing wrong getting all your stuff in order.

We are going to WDW for Thanksgiving, and like some others, are using Frequent Flier tickets. So yes, we've already bought them. And since we're DVC members, we can't make our resort reservations for another 2 months. We've also already bought MIL's ticket to join us from Chicago, because we were very particular in which times we wanted for her (trying to coordinate meeting).

I will admit. I was worried about paying for flights. I did not want to pay more than $250 each. When I started looking when they were available. The prices were crazy. So when MidWest said 212.00 I said oh please don't go up for a week...till tax money. They went up 5.00 and I grabbed them. Now they are up to 242. So I am so glad I did it.

Now to finish paying off the package. That is my next goal. Then to do spending money. I have $115.00 in Disney Dollars and am saving my change for my vacation fund. Plus I have some other ways of saving money.

Okay hope more are going Thanksgiving week.

I've already bought our tickets on Delta for Dec. They started to go up and I figured I had better grab them.

I was afraid of the prices going higher and higher so I bought my flight tickets for December. I bought them in early April. Paid $124.00 round trip from New York.

Hi PurtyPat1,
Flying out of LGA and we are using Spirit Airlines. I was a little worried about the Airline but people I work with have used it, so we went for it. It's a no frill airline but I couldn't pass on the price.

We're flying Thanksgiving day and coming back Dec 4. I haven't gotten my tickets yet and haven't seen any good prices even back in Jan they were high. I bought for my mom to fly to FL in early Dec last year for $250, the lowest I've found is 311 so far and the schedule isn't what I want. I'm going to keep watching it frequently and hope for the best. I think prices will continue to fluctuate, I was watching a flight for June to Montana and after going up for 2 months by $50 it came back down and I bought it even tho it was a little higher then the price I found in Jan/Feb when I should have grabbed it. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hi MDM,

We are also using Spirit For the first time when coming home from MCO to LGA this coming FEB 2006 Presidents week.

I am also a tad nervous. I am a Delta, Song, & AA flyer. Please fill us in on how your Spirit experience, and if you liked it.

Thanks

Patricia

We are going then and with all the talk about prices going up I think I'm going to book the price I saw (hope it's still there) for a nonstop to Sanford at $79 each way. Just have to convince my husband!

We're flying Spirit out of LGA 11/24-12/3, we paid $108 rt plus tax & fees, I think it came to $115 pp.

we booked the week before thanksgiving for $160 + tax. We are flying america out of chicago to mco. These tix have went up to over $1000 from the $760 we paid for 4 people. In the past I would wait to after the summer to buy our ticket. Since the prices ae going up and down so often, I guess you must get them when you see them at the price you ant to pay. :confused3

:guilty: We are planning on going at the beginning of November and Independence Air doesn't allow you to book this far ahead. So we will have to wait! :guilty:

Great price. I just checked them and it's up to $368 (for Spirit??). Delta is $179. I'm going to wait until the spring travel is done and order in May (well, for financial reasons too). Hoping they go down or a lower fare opens up for Newark (that's $250 as of today). YIKES! We went this past Jan for $109 round trip. I'm hoping for $150 - pipe dream? Maybe, but Ill exhaust every effort! LOL :goodvibes
