I've only been back 3 days and I already have my next 2 trips in the planning stages. My DM says I have a disease-(I'm pretty sure she got a mild case of it last week) Anyway, I'm wondering how crowded it will be the week of Thanksgiving? I've been the week after and its been pretty busy is the week of worse? Thanks for the info.

I am also one who gets homesick for Disney after getting back from a trip! I can't wait for our next one, and love planning away!

I am also curious about the crowds the week of Thanksgiving. We haven't decided if we wanted to go this time of year or not. Since we are buying AP's and are not going home for Thanksgiving, we thought Disney would be great. I don't mind crowds, we usually visit in the summer, but I do mind gridlock.

Enlighten us please with your positives and negatives about this time of year!

To sum up my feelings about Thanksgiving week: I WILL NEVER GO AGAIN DURING THAT WEEK!!!

T-Day itself wasn't so bad, but Fri-Sat-Sun were next to impossible. I have never been in such a log-jam in the Magic Kingdom as we were on that trip.

Elbow-to-elbow . . . . and ridiculous wait times. We tried to escape Fantasyland by using the now-defunct Skyway, and there was even a 45-minute wait for that!!

But, to be more positive, others have posted that if you are there during that week, it isn't too bad if you can finish up and be out of there before the week-end.

Maybe 1997 was just a bad year for a Thanksgiving visit . . . . . .

I'm wondering if Magic Kingdom wasn't a necessity to visit over the weekend, are the other parks bad? I am just wondering if everyone flocks to one particular park, or if they are all jam packed..

I would HATE to get into such a crowd that I can't move - mainly why I hate staying until closing - feel like cattle being rounded into the pen!
