Hi all....

I've just become new DVC members and I needed to book a studio for mid January. I was worried I might have to settle for OKW or SS but I am happy to announce that we got a reservation for BWV today for a Preferred View Studio and we already requested a Garden View. We are so excited to be able to stay at BWV for our first time.

I just had to share the good news with everyone here.

I am glad you got what you wanted but I would never consider OKW setteling. It would be my preference. JMO.

So happy you got the BWV. I'm not sure if I read your post correctly but if you have preferred view it is either garden or boardwalk view. Check your reservation....you may already have the garden view.

I have been an owner at OKW since 1994 when it WAS DVC!! I never consider it "Settling" for anything. It a shame that's how you think and feel. We love OJW and have never had anything but a great experience with wonderful service, great CM abd the kind of resort feeling we enjoy. I have stayed at other DVCs and my experience at BWV was very "undisney" and we have not chosen to stay there since. So, I guess I would never "settle" for BWV. Its all relative I guess.

I am sorry if you were offended by this...... but I was just so happy to get into BWV for our first stay. OKW is a beautiful resort and we would have liked to own there but you can almost always get a studio there or at SS, so that's why I chose to poor wording that I did.

We plan on staying at all the DVC resorts in the future, but we really wanted to buy into BWV or BCV for the convenience of being able to walk into Epcot and DHS.

Now we are getting a severe case of addonitis so we can have enough points to do just that.

ahhhh, i can already smell the funnel cake! i am sure you will enjoy your stay. . we have been fortunate to stay at all dvc resorts at WDW and we find some great qualities among all of them~i'm sure you'll find that too. welcome home!
