Wow, thanks for posting.

I wonder how much processor allocation this takes up and if it will ever be installed in software directly in the camera to combat image shake, let alone in post production applications!

How could the program possibly know what part or bit belonged where?! Incredile if it actually works as good as predicted... wonder how automated it will actually be. There has to be wuite a bit of user input...

What I found incredible was the "blur kernel" (sp?). Somehow it figures out the movement of the camera that caused the blur. Then it sort of reverse engineers the movement to correct the image. Way beyond my pay grade!!

I actually sent this to my grad school DSP professor and he gave me the history on attempting to fix this issue. He stated to date none have worked really well but he explained the strategy behind the software to me.

As with anything, take these examples as "best case" scenarios. People were drooling over the content aware fill and that turned out to be....ok. Not quite as amazing as they advertised in my opinion however.
