I Kicked it I Played it and now..Wheeling & Dealing at the WL final 9/9 p87/88

Your pictures are so beautiful and clear! I'm very impressed, wrong lens or not.
I'm sorry you had to miss out on the Cinco de Mayo drinking fun. Not fair. I hope the sacrifice was not in vain and your medicine really helped you.

I will try my hardest to help you reach your goal.....

I would like to say that I am really enjoying your pictures. I could spend days in the parks, taking pictures and never riding a ride as I am always looking for those Disney details that are so often overlooked.

Thanks Shocker. I agree that there are countless details that are overlooked. That's what I love about taking pictures, especially at the AK because its a plethora of details (O yeah - throwing in some big vocab words there!).

Thanks!

Even though I was feeling sorry for myself that day, in the grand scheme of things missing out on a few drinks at Disney World was NOT that big of a deal. I have stayed relapse free from teh Evil "D" so I was REALLY thankful for that. That's what is really important!

:cool1: hooray for 500 posts!!!

I wonder how many people all the health clubs at the resorts see in a day?

I don't think you sound like an alcoholic! I think it makes good sense! Why be around the temptation when you can't have it? Although it must have killed you not to go to the meets!!!

Yippeee for EE! I'll be posting my did we get to to ride EE update todate :rolleyes1 I'm glad the Flagyl helped but I sure hope those icky side affected didn't get you!

Fabulous pictures as usual!!!!

Sorry to hear you missed out on the Cinco de Mayo DisMeet!

More beautiful pictures! :thumbsup2 After your last TR you got me hooked on taking pics at AK! It is so gorgeous there and so many details it's wonderful to try and capture their images :goodvibes

Isn't the health club at WL nice? I really liked it. There were very few people in there when I went too. Somehow I don't think many people exercise on vacation. Wish I didn't have to but unfortunately my metabolism has other ideas.

FANTASTIC pictures in AK. I really must spend some more time there exploring. I am still not brave enough for Everest, though...

I'm sorry you had to skip the Cinco de Mayo festivities and DIS meets. That stinks. :guilty:

I'm so sorry you couldn't enjoy Cinco de Mayo the way you wanted to!! How awful to make "it was near the bathroom" a criteria of your day!! :sad2: I hope you will make up for it in September. And if your travelling companion says "I'd rather go back to the room" you'll say "ok- I'l meet you back there in an hour after I have a Rita". :goodvibes I really like your EE pics- nice ones there!!:thumbsup2

Great update - I just love AK mornings! Sorry your Dis meet did not happen, I agree would be hard to hang out at a "drinking" occasion and not drink. We were at Bethany Beach (Sea Colony) last weekend! Just now trying to catch up on my thread subs.

I'm so sorry you were feeling so poorly but am so impressed that you didn't let it slow you down! I can't believe anyone uses the fitness facilities on vacation :rotfl:

It was a bummer you didn't come to cinco but I totally understand why! At least we got to meet later in the day :thumbsup2

This is my workout routine.....home or on vacation!

Okay, just boosting up the post count. Now back to read more than the first paragraph of your latest update. :lmao::lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: That would be my routine as well. :rotfl:

Mary Ellen, your pics of EE are spectacular. I'm beginning to wonder if you ever get out of the resort and to a park at the time YOU wanted to on this trip.

Another great shot of the four of you.

I'm sorry you had to miss out on the Cinco de Mayo meet. :guilty:

Woo Hoo for 10 minute wait on EE though.

so sorry you had miss margaritas on Cinco de Mayo - my daughter and I can't wait to try the Cave next year ... and your pictures are fabulous!

I'm bummed you missed out on the Cinco de Mayo meet, it would have been great to meet you. I totally understand why you didn't come though, it wouldn't have been much fun to sit around and watch the rest of us enjoying our margaritas!

So sorry you missed out on your meets. You really are awesome for keeping the pace with your stomache issues. My biggest fear is getting more than half way through one of those hour long lines and then having the "call of nature". I have often wondered if the cast member at the beginning of the line would have mercy on me and give me a fast pass. :confused3

I am really enjoying following your trip report. Keep the updates coming.

Cirque was a smash. 90 Seconds of non-stop fun!

Wow, it really *did* fly by, huh? :lmao:

Its always good to be in the market for more DVC points......

Or *any* points... :rolleyes1

I knew I wanted to try WP because I remember reading about the place in CP's and Praise His Name's TRs.

Thanks for the shout-out! LOVED Wolfgang Puck Express!!!

So with that one little pill went all my hopes of Cinco de Mayo....right down the crapper, so to speak.

Reminds me of the title of my first (and only) pre-trip report! :lmao: So sorry you had to abstain on Cinco de Mayo.

 :scared1: :lmao:

I highly suggest looking at the bottom of page 9 - the flesh colored Jansport fanny pack......OMG!!!!!!

I had to do some searching (it's not on page 9 anymore), but I found it and almost peed myself laughing! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the tour of the "real" Saratoga Springs. Very pretty!

Your group shot at AK turned out really nice!

Doing my part to bump up your total! I just love the Asian section of AK, everything just feels so right. The detail is so amazing & Everest makes a great background for photos.

You have been doing a great job with your camera.

The soccer shots were great, I had so much fun when my sons played, but I don't want to do it again! :thumbsup2

Fabulous pictures as usual!!!!

I don't think too many people go to the health club, but I loved the one at Kidani because it was so open with glass windows all around.

I'm glad you don't think I am an alcoholic because I think I made up for it last night!!!!! Happy hour into all hours.

I' hope everyone in your group loved EE!

Sorry to hear you missed out on the Cinco de Mayo DisMeet!

More beautiful pictures! :thumbsup2 After your last TR you got me hooked on taking pics at AK! It is so gorgeous there and so many details it's wonderful to try and capture their images :goodvibes

Well - there's always next year for a Dismeet. Except we will be going after cinco de mayo next yr. I am looking at May 14 - 18th for a soccer mom trip.

Isn't it fun to take pics in the AK. Can you imagine how many different pics you would take if you went into the AK by yourself.....just you and the camera???? Wowsa.

Isn't the health club at WL nice? I really liked it. There were very few people in there when I went too. Somehow I don't think many people exercise on vacation. Wish I didn't have to but unfortunately my metabolism has other ideas.

I did like the health club, but I liked Kidani's a bit more. I like to exercise on vacation because I don't get to do it as much at home. I have to get up so darn early and then I am too tired at night. So I have always incorporated regular exercise into my vacations. that's just me and I'll keep doing it despite sore muscles and blisters on my toes.

What????....not brave enough for Everest? That needs to change!

So, I talked to the soccer moms last night and I think we are going to head down May 14th - 18th. Ellen goes down on the 13th. I can only afford one weekend night in points, so we will arrive saturday. Are you in????

I'm so sorry you couldn't enjoy Cinco de Mayo the way you wanted to!! How awful to make "it was near the bathroom" a criteria of your day!! :sad2: I hope you will make up for it in September. The "near a bathroom" was actually only necessary in the morning. I was absolutely fine the rest of the days so the flagyl kicked in right away.

I will definitely be hitting the cave in September. I already told Jen that there was a margarita (or two) with my name on it waiting!!!!!

Great update - I just love AK mornings! Sorry your Dis meet did not happen, I agree would be hard to hang out at a "drinking" occasion and not drink. We were at Bethany Beach (Sea Colony) last weekend! Just now trying to catch up on my thread subs.

Ah - nice weekend for Bethany Beach! Hope I get down there soon!

I love AK mornings, too. I love that park!!!!!!!

I didn't actually feel terrible, but I was so concerned that I was relapsing that I didn't want to take any chances. Other than being totally bummed about having a kink in my plans, I was OK. I was pretty bummed about cinco. But I know you guys had a rita for me, so it was all good! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

This is my workout routine.....home or on vacation!

:worship::rotfl2::lmao::rotfl::laughing::woohoo:

Another Classic! I might have to try some of those at home!!!!!!

Okay, just boosting up the post count. Now back to read more than the first paragraph of your latest update. :lmao::lmao:

 Aw, shucks, THANKS!!!!!!!!!! (shamelessly begging for more posts - yup that's me!)

Mary Ellen, your pictures are so beautiful!! It makes me want to run out and buy a new camera but with my luck my pics wouldn't turn out...unless it's point and shoot, they don't work for me:confused3

Margaritas in Mexico....did it once the year we took Jasmine for her 12th birthday....not sure if it was the fact that I had wine in Italy, but that drink totally did me in. :rotfl2:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: That would be my routine as well. :rotfl:

Another great shot of the four of you.
:rotfl2: I am telling you those pictures put a whole new twist on the idea of a workout. You finish 3 reps of 10 for each of those and you might be feeling more than a bit tipsy!!!!!!

I actually did get to the park (almost) at a time I wanted. It was my last park day when I went in by myself!!!!

I have the same photopass pic of us - I need to post it!

I'm sorry you had to miss out on the Cinco de Mayo meet. :guilty:

Woo Hoo for 10 minute wait on EE though.

I'm over it now, but I was bummed that day.

LL - you MUST try EE!!!!! I am rooting for you to ride it this year!!!!!

so sorry you had miss margaritas on Cinco de Mayo - my daughter and I can't wait to try the Cave next year ... and your pictures are fabulous!

Can't wait to hear what you think about the Cave. It's definitely on my list for September. I am so there!!!!!!

Glad you are liking the pictures!

I'm bummed you missed out on the Cinco de Mayo meet, it would have been great to meet you. I totally understand why you didn't come though, it wouldn't have been much fun to sit around and watch the rest of us enjoying our margaritas!

It would have been great to meet you in person, but at least we are meeting via the internet now!!!!! And you never know when our paths may cross in Disney again. I am just glad everyone had a great time at the meet and I can't wait to see everyone's pics of what I missed!!!!!

So sorry you missed out on your meets. You really are awesome for keeping the pace with your stomache issues. My biggest fear is getting more than half way through one of those hour long lines and then having the "call of nature". Hey Dallas -Yeah - it would totally suck to be on line and then need an emergency bio-break. Fortunately, my issues did not reach that level and that's why I started back on flagyl so fast. I did not want that to happen. I remember being stuck on the TTA with my son after lunch once when he was in serious need of a bio break. Poor kid. I felt so bad for him.

Wow, it really *did* fly by, huh? :lmao:

OOPS....that is a major typo - perhaps I should correct it? :rolleyes1

Thanks for the shout-out! LOVED Wolfgang Puck Express!!!

I loved it, too! Really, really good! :thumbsup2 Thanks for the recommendation

Oh My.......I never read your first and only PTR, but something tells me its wasn't pretty. I guess I have to go check it out!

I had to do some searching (it's not on page 9 anymore), but I found it and almost peed myself laughing! :rotfl2:

Thanks for the tour of the "real" Saratoga Springs. Very pretty!

Your group shot at AK turned out really nice!

Wasn't that the most NASTY picture. OMG!!!!!!! That is just WRONG!!!!!

Glad you liked the "real" SSR and our group shot - Notice - I am laughing!!!!!!

:thumbsup2

 Thanks for responding to my shameless plea for more posts!!!!:rolleyes1

I love Asia, too and Everest is an awesome back drop. It's hard to picture AK without it. Glad you are liking the pics.

Oh, and I have a million more soccer shots that I could post!!!!!
