I just LOVED POFQ!!!

We were there from 9/26 - 10/1. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it to anyone.

I loved that it was so quiet and quaint. But the pool was enough fun for DS (4). I loved the riverboat to Riverside for dinner at Boatwrights. Also, my DH and DS rented a small speed boat on the river one late afternoon and had so much fun. That was something we hadn't even planned.

we stayed in building 4 which was sooooo close to the buses. You just cut in front by the parking lot and were right there. (that part was great). You could also see Illuminations from our 3rd floor balcony every night.

Did your husband rent the boat right at POFQ? Was it a reasonable price?

the boats are available for rental at the sister-resort, port orleans riverside... i believe it's about $30 for 1/2 hour...

I always say that Port Orleans/French Quarter is a moderate with the soul of a deluxe.

Don't give up. Just be persistant. Some do cancel at the last minute. Try it. Good luck! Which resort are you now?
