I'm so sorry to hear that you lost a job. It hit me hard when I lost mine several years ago and we are hoping my husband gets a new position before his company's d-day. I remembering seeing Lansing in several searches on Monster.com and other job search engines. I will praying that you get a better paying job quickly.
Sorry about your job. I don't know any job openings there let alone here. But you can do a search on the net. I am doing that right now, trying to see what is out there in Orlando. I am also doing a search on apartments too on line.
I hope you find a job soon. But for the mean time, just start looking and also enjoy the time off. I know it's hard to get time off from work. Good luck. Sending you some pixie dust to ya. Remember the saying..."When the door shuts...the other door opens." Curly Q, something will come your way...even better than what you had.
Prayers and PD your way! Like Lewski709 said, it happens for a reason. My DH lost his job (and our health insurance and COBRA availability) when I was 7.5 mos. pregnant with DD#3. It turned out to be the biggest blessing in disguise. I hope your situation turns into a blessing too.
Lewski beat me to it. Everything does happen for a reason. Even if we can't figure out what that reason is right away. As my Mom used to say "This too shall pass". I'm sorry you lost a job that you like. Not many people can say they really love their job. Can you collect unemployment while you're keeping your eyes open for something else? Good luck to you!
