I just had my first ever Fluffernutter Sandwich!

You're kidding! Right? I loved Fluffernutter and peanut butter sandwiches when I was a kid. Too sweet for me now since I have to watch the sugar. Boy...I can just taste one just from you mentioning it! Yum! :teeth:

Nope, I honestly had never even heard of it until this board!

My son bought a Marshmallow Shooter at an arts and crafts fair yesterday and the bag of marshmallows was sitting by the peanut butter so I tried it.

It was good, sweet and salty (The PB was crunchy).

They have the fluffernutter at Pop Century. I had my very first one in December. Yummy!

Nearly 50 and never ate one! Somehow it just doesn't sound good to me....

Maybe one day! :p

You used regular marshmallows???? Isn't quite the same as Fluffy that you buy in a container...but it is a start for a beginner..:teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

Oh my gosh! I can't believe you hadn't had it before....I have had them since I was like 4!! They were my favorite lunch, ever in kindergarden....the only thing I would eat for lunch actually:teeth:

As a lifelong lover of Fluff, I say welcome to the wonderful world of the Fluffernutter Sandwich. You will, however, have to try one with genuine Fluff, and not regular marshmellows. There is just no comparison. :D

Try it on toasted bread--spread the peanut butter and Fluff when the bread is still warm. Yummmmmmmm......

That's just what I was getting ready to post.

If anyone knows of any Fluff without egg whites in it let me know. I would LOVE to have a fluffanutter again.

I agree! The spreadable "fluff" is much better.

I read somewhere that Elvis Presley used to like his with a strip of fried bacon and honey drizzled over it all, then grilled like you would a grilled cheese! Talk about your heart attacks on a plate!

Fluffernutters rule!!!

Here's another weird snack my Dad taught us: put whole marshmallows on Ritz crackers and warm in toaster oven until marshmallows are golden and gooey. Yum!

Ooohhh, these are good. I love to spread peanut butter on bread, sprinkle marshmallows on it (I never seem to have spreadable marshmallow creme) and toast the whole sandwich. Dang, now I want one! :)

Lori P. :)

I have never even heard of that. I'll have to give it a try. Sounds yummy.

My DH and youngest DD love them. I think it is so gross!!!

I need to say this nicely..you did not have a Fluffernutter..you merely had a peanut butter and marshmallow sandwich.

Ya gotta have Fluff for it to be a true Fluffernutter sandwich!

Wow I always thought Fluffernutter was a normal growing up thing like PB&J, which I personally don't like. Can only use fluffernutter brand though because other stuff just doesn't taste or spread the same. We even put fluff in hot chocolate in the winter.
