My BIL got one which I used for our September trip where he is going with us at All-Star Movies.

I may try to use the code for my December Ft. Wilderness trip and have him "go with me" unless I get an email myself soon.

otherwise, we'll have to stay off-site. My ressie's at ASM will cost $246/nightly. I can't pay that.

Did anyone else's email NOT have a code? Mine didn't have a code, but it does have a PIN number. The subject line says "Save on a Walt Disney World(R) Resort stay this fall!" The CM I spoke to wasn't sure why mine didn't have a code.
 
Holy cow!

i don't believe it, i got an email! now I'm listening to Topsy Turvey on hold and waiting to see if this saves me any more cash. I will let people know if it helps me...maybe we might be in the tower instead of a wing! (if i can convince my child, she's afraid of heights...)

anyone had any luck getting GF with this discount? Hmmmmmm...gears really turning now...

keeping my fingers crossed which is making it difficult to type while holding the phone to my ear LOL.

My BILs didn't have a code either, just a PIN #. She was able to find it though.

That the code is being offered in different states, limited towns, nothing for Florida.:confused: Oh, well, I am waiting for the Fl. Resident rate for Nov. anyway.:p

I got my email this morning. I had just checked the board for an AP update, then to my surprise, when I checked my email there it was!

We're going October 1 through October7. I called first thing and asked for WL, nothing available but concierge level. Next checked moderates, was told all that was available for my dates was POFQ------booked at $79/night.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all of you waiting for emails or AP rates. Best wishes!

okay, this is what they offered me:

I already had booked CR standard view for 6 nights in mid-september, with an extra adult, so the total for the room was/is 1231.00 (with azz code).

When i called back, they offered me Garden View (no standard avail.) with the pin number code for $1405.00. Talked it over with my husband and since this is a last minute trip we're happy with the Standard view.

I also asked out of curiosity what it would be for the GF for the same nights and they offered me Garden View (again with the extra adult) for 1833.00 including tax. Great deal, but this year DH and DD have their hearts set on the Contemporary and since this is a last minute trip, that is enough difference to almost pay for our 5 day hoppers...so I decided to leave well enough alone LOL.

Wish I could give this discount to my in laws tho :( If you have the same last name you should be able to transfer it LOL.

LOL! Yep, I'd bet you're right! I just hope more folks are having better luck than I did.

I called to find out if possibly I had received an offer at an old address (snail mail or email), but no. :mad: The CM did ask me something I thought was curoius. She wanted to know if it was true that I had been more than 50 times!! :earseek: Although I know some of you out there have been well over 50 times in your lifetime, I have not. I've been somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 times - tops. I wonder if that has been keeping me off the coveted mailing list for discounts!?!:confused:

Anyway, I came up emptyhanded again. I'm trying to switch our reservation from late Sept/early Oct to late Oct/early November. (edited to change the typo) I think the weather would be nicer, but then again, NOT at RACK RATE! lol:jester:

I got the same recording/message when I called. I just stayed on the line and waited it out and eventually I got to speak with an Operator.
 
that is SO interesting! cause she asked me too if it was true that i'd been there 44 times; i told her yes, it was true; we used to go twice a year when i was a kid for 2 weeks at a time when there was only the MK and no other parks! LOL

interesting that they asked that. hmmm...makes you wonder doesn't it? LOL

she couldn't find the email code at first but she finally found it, it was under my name (the name i registered with WDW.com) and the same one that the ticket purchasing reminder came to the other day.

oh, i wish we could use this to stay at the grand! i'm hooked LOL. but i know once i get checked in at 'home' (our beloved CR) that i'll be thrilled with where we are :)

again, good luck everyone! I wasn't on hold that long, only about 2 and a half songs worth LOL

I actually get this message every time I call in the morning-- sometimes I'm on hold a few minutes, and sometimes someone answers right away. I think it's just standard in the morning since so many people call and check rates and stuff like that!
 
No new information.:( "Sorry, marketing decides who gets these discounts. I know I have read on the discussion boards there are a lot of people receiving them. All I can tell you is to keep watching your email".

It's official now............I feel unloved and am 99% sure I will not get anything. It's just my luck.:worried:

If per chance, there are any Disney CM's out there reading this, my birthday is in less than 2 weeks and it IS a biggie.............a discount code would do wonders to keep me from falling into a mid life crisis. :sad:

The e-mail that we received did not have a code either, just the pin. I assumed that there wasn't a code or at least they weren't tracking by code because as many on this board have said the PIN is already linked with you in the computer, so i'm assuming there shouldn't be a problem.
