I just got a FREE hotel stay in NYC!!! (Disney Hotels Coming Up!)

ANyone know what page the disney hotel descriptions were on hare? I can't get the "more info" link on LMT to wokr right now.

So what if they do send me a 1099 for the value of the room....it is not going to be that much tax - you just claim it as income. My sister won a car a few years back - she just changed her deductions so that they kept a little more out of her paycheck each time and it covered her tax on the car completely.

I was so mad because I went to bed about 11:30 CST because I thought that it ended for some reason at midnight EST. I can't separate the rumors from the limited information from LMT.

You know, I am confused by this too. The sale says it is 1.00 a night. And you have to provide a CC. But lots of people are reporting they have gotten emails and phone calls saying the rooms are free.

I just don't know (Insert unsure smilie here LOL)

I've won many prizes including two vacations. If it's of value (i.e., not a t-shirt), they have you sign an affidavit and you have to give them your social security number prior to claiming the prize, and then you are sent a 1099 around tax time. LMT is not sending out affidavits that I'm aware of, nor asking for SSN's, so I'm not sure what the basis is for claiming that it's a taxable prize.

I am not so much worried about it being a "taxable" prize. I am confused by the posts that some rooms in a $1 sale are free. I think you said you got a call that your room was free, right? Then why do they need the CC info? I have not seen anything about free rooms on the site-I am confused.

I wonder if any of the pictures on the website are going to change after midnight. Also, isn't Monday Day 6? Where is the useless daily video clue?

I have no idea what "destinaton digits" means except to guess it could be 2:24 AM/PM, 2:42 AM/PM or 4:22 AM/PM. Or all three -- 5 minutes each, but not sure if each one is AM or PM.

I don't even know if I want to do this anymore. I thought about the money. Even if I get the hotel room, I still have to pay for airfare, park tickets, food. I should really give this a little more thought.

I was contemplating getting up early to try to get a deal. but after seeing those ratings, I think I'll stick with Free dining too!!! But good luck to everyone else!!!

I was so very sad I did not get the room to disney. I thought about pulling an all nighter. But, then I started pricing out the seperate components to my seven night stay. I would need park tickets, air, and food. Free, dining is a better deal at disney for me. Not to mention the BBB, thing had me pretty worried. However, I may just try for a local hotel, a long weekend stay. Maybe, something out in NYC. Just a quick train ride away.

I checked out the site! There HAS to be a catch, somehow, no one can give that many free rooms away. I checked with a computer expert at work, he does all the research of what sites are blocked for our huge corporation, on our internet server, they block unsafe sites, his statement to me was, "don't give your CC# to this site and this so called promotion, apparently the security of the site is high red alert. It makes sense because no one can give away this many rooms, especially when Disney is not having trouble booking right now with their own promotions they have going on!

I hope it works out for those who apparently won. They don't answer emails, they don't give direct numbers to talk to a person, that makes no sense. If this does pan out, becareful, many sites sell your credit card numbers, and many hack into insecure sites. I stick to the ,"if its to hard to believe, then don't believe it". I booked the bounceback for FD for Sept 2009, that is discount enough for me. THERE IS A CATCH, NOT SURE WHAT BUT THERE IS A CATCH, I GUESS YOU JUST HAVE TO BE ADVENTOROUS. I AM A VICTIM OF IDENTITY THEFT, IT TOOK YEARS OF "CLEARING MY NAME". So, someone can have my spot on that site 24 hours a day, I am not that adventorous Something is fishy about the whole thing, if not, I won't lose anything, especially my precious sleep time waiting for the clock to tick Besides, WE WON THE SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
