WOW! I just looked for the same trip, but from Baltimore, and found it for $503!!

DH is going to check and see what his summer teaching schedule is like.. but this is almost too good to pass up!!

Same deal from Chicago MDW for 2 adults for the same travel dates. If I choose a non-stop flight on ATA it's only $16/pp more. Interestingly enough, when I add my kids to the reservation they give me a completely different choice of hotels at higher prices per person. I can book the same exact flight on ATA and have us all go down for $1235 but I'm not sure about the extra charges for having the kids in the room with us. Very tempting indeed. NOTE: for these itineraries, the prices are only good for 1 room/king bed (1-2 adults). Like tinaluis mentioned just above, if I add additional adults or children (example: 4) to get a room with 2 double beds, the price goes up significantly...like it's a deal tailored for couples or those traveling in twos. I'm not sure if that applies for you folks on the east coast, but it's a great bargain nonetheless.

I've found that if we split our party and make two reservations (ie, 2 rooms), 1 adult 2 kids and then 1 adult 1 kid we still get the Dolphin and at very reasonable rates from Chicago O'Hare (about $266/pp.). What to do, what to do? We were planning on spending most of the month of August in Orlando but we were planning on driving down. This is really tempting.

We booked it from Indianapolis flying ATA (direct) flight for July 3, 4, 5th (checking out on the 6th). It came to $541. Looks like it's gone now, though. That's incredible for a holiday weekend and for the Dolphin!

Wonder if the available king rooms booked up or if this was a glitch? Rats, I wanted to get this for our daughter and husband also. I'm glad we grabbed it when we first saw it.

Thanks so much for this great info, last night I booked 4 nights coming from bwi for our 15th anniversary for the 3rd wk in June. Today the deal is not available. I ended up having to book it by phone, but it still worked. When we were down there last year we visited this hotel and said we would really like to stay there, but didn't think we would ever afford to. We went to Disney World for our honeymoon too!

I just keyed in random July dates and got the ridiculous rate of $521! The lowest rate even from Atlanta I can ever get via air is $75 each way so that would leave 4 nights at the Dolphin for $221. That is phenomenal!

yesterday after seeing this post. It would have been perfect for DH, me, and DD1, but DH is NYPD and couldn't get the time off. Both the Swan and the Dolphin were listed. We could have gone in March or Sept, but the rates/hotels were not available then. We have APs, which would have made this a no brainer. Please send hugs : ( This deal was too good to pass up, but I had to pass it up anyway...
How bad is the heat in July anyway? Maybe it wouldn't have been smart to bring DD then anyway. We'll probably stay at AS Mo in 9/04.

Maybe it wasn't so much of a glitch after all. Maybe these ridiculously low rates are just filling fast. I just put in a midweek stay 7/13-16 and I got the $401 package price. But the rate does not show up for the original dates I booked.

I just input the same thing from LGA for the Swan for July 1 to 5 and the price is $1345 and for the Dolphin is $1072.

Something was wrong before.

I got Dolphin for $195.00/night for 6/2-68/04 for 4 people, but can't remember my password to book the reservation.

Expedia shows Dolphin for $199/night same dates for 4 people, so try them to see what deals you can get. There were other Disney resorts listed which is unusual to find official Disney hotels on one of these systems. At least it was before 9/11!

I tried airfair from ATL and got 506/person for these dates. But I plan on driving anyway.

I just checked Travelocity again for 7/1-7/5. There are no more Traditional King rooms available. They must have sold out. The price for 2 beds was a lot more than the king, when I booked this deal. The price has not gone up. The low price was only on the Traditional King bed rooms. It might still be available with mid-week dates. It's no wonder the King rooms went so fast, with such a great deal. I'm happy for everyone who was able to grab this great deal!! I wasn't planning on going back to Orlando this year, but I couldn't resist this great rate!!

Great news!! If anyone is still interested in booking this deal, I found it even cheaper for July 11-15. Same deal, 4 nights + airfare for 2 out of New York (LGA), only these flights are on Spirit Airlines. Get this -- ONYLY $426!!!!! ($213 a person). I tried all of July (for 4 nights). I only found it available for the 11-15. The Traditinal King rooms must be sold out for other dates. Maybe it's available in other states too. It's really an unbelievable deal. The airfare alone for these dates is $348 ($174 a person) at Spirt Airlines website.

July 11-15 is also available out of PHL. The price is $541 (270 per person).

Also available out of BOS. The price is $526 ($263 per person).

Also available out of ORD. The price is $433 ($216 per person).

LAX -- $681 ($340 per person)

Other states may be available, I only checked a few.

July 11-15 is sold out now. The funny thing is that the Dolphin was cheaper than Masters Inn, Ecno Lodge, Comfort Suites and Days Inn, to name a few. Congratulations to everyone who was able to grab this awesome deal. It's almost like staying at the Dolphin for free or getting free airfare, whichever way you want to look at it!! I'm really excited about staying at the Dolphin. I just called the Dolphin to put in a request for a renovated room. The woman I spoke to said that would not be a problem. She said the renovations will be completed by the time I go!!!!! It's going to be so nice.
