I've read this book like four times. It's really up there on my favorite book list. It's definitely my favorite book by Nicholas Sparks. My friends don't like it because they find it dull, and it's written in a not so bright way to them. Like they don't think the vocabulary is that good for a book that is so popular, and that the book seems to lack. I think what they don't get is that THIS IS Landon. He's smart, but he's not an overachiever, he's a seventeen year old kid with not the best vocabulary. His life isn't exciting. The voice is perfect for who Landon is.
