The other day my 10 year old niece told me about a girl who came to school crying. Her bird egg had hatched that morning so the girl's mother seeing the baby bird was wet was going to dry it off.
She put the bird in the microwave!!!! Now this is a grown woman I'm talking about. Not only did the poor thing die after being nuked for 30 seconds it exploded!! How do you tell your child you just blew up their pet? What the heck is wrong with people?!

I seriously thought I would puke after she told me that.</font>

Let's hope the story is not true. Some kids tell really strange stories to get a reaction out of other kids. I knew several kids like that at school!
