Not a big deal. I just burned my Boca Burger beyond recognition. Why is it I didn't smell smoke until I opened the door and I couldn't miss the smoke? I'm just glad the smoke alarm didn't go off. Took that crispy critter outside after passing it through the window. LOL! Cooking is not one of my better skills...even with a microwave. Maybe I'll make a sandwich.

I once tried to make Beef Stroganoff, the recipe from the Food and Wine Festival.....DH took one bite, spit it back on the plate and declared "this is terrible". So I am right there with you about the cooking.

At least I didn't have the cute firefighters here. I once burned breakfast...sort of. Had the pan way too hot and then sprayed Pam on it. Set off the fire alarm via ADT. They asked me for my security code. I couldn't remember it! So two trucks of cute firefighters showed up. But I felt terrible they showed up for nothing.
