ok, i'm way new to this site, but aparently alot of u have been to disney world before. i am in desperate need of advice here. my parents are forcing me to go. i really dont want to. and i hate, hate, HATE rollercoasters! can any1 tell me about some rides that i might be able to go on where i won't cry in line, but still arent to baby-ish? please.

yeahh, soarin is pretty sweet. test track. um i dont know those are the only two i can think of and both are in epcot.

Awe,don't worry!

Here's the ride's you probably will wan't to avoid if you hate rollercoasters:

Space Mountain
Rock n Roller Coaster
Splash Mountain( thats more of a water ride with drops)
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad (More of a thrill ride, but isn't THAT scary..Its really fun)
Expedition Everest

Are you scared of heights aswell?

The only rides you shouldn't go on [if you are afraid of roller coasters] are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Expedition Everest, Space Mountain, and Rock N' Roller Coaster. Also maybe Tower of Terror if you are afraid of heights. I think you could go on Splash Mountain - I went on it when I was 3. :] Have fun when you go!!

Mission: Space
Test Track
Soarin'
Astro Orbiter
Splash Mountain
Kali River Rapids
Dinosaur

Maybe you could try one of the coasers? They really aren't that bad. I was scared to death of them until I was 14. When I started going on them I really LOVED it.

well my dad is making me go on splash mountain, so there's no avoiding that, but the thing is i luv water rides, just hate rollercoasters. i am slightly scared of hights, but not alot. thanks for the suggestions guys. :)

well my dad is making me go on splash mountain, so there's no avoiding that. i am slightly scared of hights, but face it, theres no getting over roller coasters for me. i went to 6 flags a few weeks ago, and cried on the mine train. (kiddie-coaster) thanks for the suggestions guys. :)

Don't worry about Splash it's totally fun. I am taking my 4 year old cousin on it. :]

Shunnnn Shunnn the non diser! ;)

Haha im just kidding, you'll love disney! If you dont want to go you obviously have NEVER gone! Have you? Well i dont like rollar coasters either but they are alot of fun there so i sort of deal.. Rock'n Roller Coaster KILLS your tummy when it "takes off" for like 2 seconds then you get used to it and it is AMAZINGLY fun! Splash kills your tummy but it is A LOT of fun! What I do to help the tummy butterflies when your going down the big drop is hold my breath. For some reason it makes it easier for your tummy.

Rides that should be fine:
Soarin'
Mickey's Phillharmagic
Mad Hatter's Teacups (nobody is ever too old to ride that one)
Astro Orbiter (the grown-up Dumbo)
Snow White's Scary Adventures
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Spaceship Earth

Those are in my head at the moment. If you go to www.disneyworld.com and click rides, check out the kids ones and some rides have videos so you could view the ride.

Don't freak at EPCOT. That'll be your safest park. You may get nervous before some of the rides, because there are several thrill rides, but it's mostly because of speed. Soarin' is totally awesome, and not scary at all, and Test Track is like riding in a car all different ways. Mission Space really isn't scary, though you have to scream through it. They create g-forces, so... And Maelstrom is awesome. Very cute.

MGM has a bunch of shows to see if you don't like coasters.

Animal Kingdom has the Safari, and Kali River Rapids. Kali really isn't scary. There's one drop at the end, but it's only half as steep as say, Splash Mountain.

Magic Kingdom. Avoid the mountains, and you'll be fine. Oh, and the Barnstormer, but most people forget that exists.

Yeah, the TOT is not scary at all. We just got back from DW at the beginning of the month, and my younger sister who is 9 went on it and loved it. She had never even been to an amusment park like that, but she went on that, and ended up wanting to go on it again, so we did.

welll
spcae mountine it might seem scary but its really fun and if theres a hill it curves so its not bad
