I Hope you can Help!!

Do you have any hobbies? Kniting, Sewing, Baking?

Does your DH drive, or your daughter, a friend? Reason I am asking...could you deliver a local newspaper?

Our states newspaper just went digital online, no more paper copies.

Maybe look into something like this. If it is commission based, you can work until you reach your limit.

I am checking this out.

Do you belong to a church where you might be able to volunteer hours beyond the minimum/max you could earn?

Church is all lay people we volunteer for free only.

lots of jobs that are all from home
I know the state does pay people to just sit with someone a few hours a week

I'm checking these out, too.

Do you have any hobbies? Kniting, Sewing, Baking?

tryed to knit, just didn't ever click, had to use iron patches, more like burning, sorry.

I need a online job that pays $40.00 a month. Any Ideas??

I am unable to drive, so I need something I can do from home (but nothing to do with children because they are little vats of germs that get me sick). Also, in order to qualify for my state health care (because my state is stupid) I cannot earn more than $40 a month. I honestly cannot think of a job like that... If anybody knows of anything that is not survey based, that's like working for an actual company that would be very helpful!

If your state requires people to find a job that earns no more than $40 per month and provides a w2 form, perhaps they might offer you some suggestions about the types of jobs that you should be looking for.

I can't imagine many (or any) businesses that would find it worthwhile to maintain any employee that earns that little, just the cost of carrying an employee on their books probably would make it not worthwhile. I don't know what minimum wage in your state is, but that probably works out to less than one hour of work a week.

I'm thinking I will have to work and get my wages on a #1099. I'm going to reach out to old friends for help. It might work out.

What's your educational background?

I do pretty well with freelance writing. I tend to write education/ parenting articles, and have done very well with education sites. But every one of them has reported my taxes, and required a 1099.

This is your best bet to work from home. In addition you'll have the benefit of self-employment deductions. Just curious if this is for Medicaid or the exchange. I can't believe a state Medicaid would require you to earn xx dollars since it's federally funded.

Good luck and I hope you find something soon!

I believe the issue here is op wants pocket money and what ever agency she is applying to requires she has a job or is looking to get benefits but if she makes over 40$ per month she will make too much household income to qualify.

Try different charities. I know I get calls from Vietnam Veterans, Purple Heart, etc. to schedule pick ups of donated items. The caller always calls from a home phone or cell phone to ask if we have anything to donate and to leave it on the porch the day they drive through our area.

This makes NO sense. You have to get a job that pays no more or no less than 40 per month to get state health insurance??? Where did you get that information. Your husband works or no? What state do you live in?

That is what it seems like.

The OP stated no more than 40.00. It seems like less is okay but needs to be documented income.

my hubby loves me too much to let that happen

Why aren't you on your husband's work health insurance? It's against the law for employer policies to not insurance you even if it's a pre-existing condition.

Maybe his company doesn't cover dependents, only the employee (there are companies that do that)...I work a union job and to have family coverage you have to work at least a 35 hour schedule (and they have changed schedules so that a lot of people now work 34 hours).

yea, cuz adults are so germ free.....

I'm disabled (however because I was a stay-at-home mother most of my adult life, I do not qualify for SSI Disability).

I have a seizure disorder (every time I have a seizure anything new has to be relearned), my speech is also affected (I forget simple words that shouldn't be hard to remember), I have balance problems as well (I am very wobbly on my feet, I use a cane or a walker when I'm outside the house).

I used to be on the state health care when I first moved here but then they were stupid and took me off it and now I have several $40,000 hospital bills which my stupid private health care insurance is not dealing with. I pay $160 a month for Heath Insurance but it does NOTHING to alleviate the actual cost of hospital stays (which happen about every 3 or 4 months, every time I have a seizure). Doctor's visits are still insanely expensive.

I need a $40 a month job so I can qualify for my stupid state's health care plan again.
how are they not "dealing with it"? what is your portion? so the $40k is going to go to bad debt at the hospital and now you want to qualify for the free state healthcare by getting a $10 a week job?

exactly.....

Exactly true.

I have an autoimmune disease that makes it so I can not fight off those little annoying illnesses, you go to work with.. if you get a 1 day stomach flu, I get it for 3 days and twice as bad as you had it, If you get the flu for 4 days, I will have it for 7 days flown blown puking, including water, 3 days in, I will go into a full on crisis, that lands me in the hospital[ie 40k bills], where if they don't treat me fast enough I will go into a coma and die... SO YES, I avoid contact with children. Sue me.

I also have a brain tumor that causes seizures, that shoots my blood sugars to 500, this must also be treated at the hospital or I could die[ie more 40k hospital bills]

My Private Insurance does not cover any pre existing conditions or hospitalization for those conditions , Addison's Disease, Brain Tumors [big big NO NO!!] with Seizer Disorder, and Diabetes caused by affects of Addison's Disease, same way I got Asthma and it may cause me to get kidney disease and heart disease.
http://thyroid.about.com/library/endocrine/bladdisons-disease2.htm

All my paid for private pastic insurance card does is get into a hopital or into the Doctors office.

And with all the cost of 5 or 6 hospitalizations a year bearing down on me[my credit was shot years ago] So it will be Bankruptcy soon.

Care to complain about me making $40. a month now??

Oh and just a side note for all you that are interested, I WILL NEVER QUALIFY FOR SSI, MEDICARE OR MEDICAID. So you rest easy I won't be taking any of your tax dollars. In Our Married lives when we were both working We never made $25,000. Even after Dd was born and Dh was at the peak earning power, He never made $40,000, never ever.
You are worried that I might get State Health Care?? Watch out Karma's a *****.

You'll qualify for Medicare if you're under 65 and disabled. It has nothing to do with income.

You'll qualify for Medicaid if you meet your state's income guidelines. If you make too much, well then, no, you won't.

Why do you say you'll NEVER QUALIFY FOR MEDICARE?? You will once you each age 65. Period. (unless the laws change!) And, it's yours then. Yours, because you or your spouse EARNED it. At least, you or your spouse will have earned Part A, usually. Part B, you'll have to pay for. Just like everyone else on Medicare Part B.

Why won't you ever qualify?

What is the deal about the 40 per month though. If you can explain that than we would understand better. Where r u getting that figure?

Why won't you ever qualify?

That SSI paper they send to tell how much you qualify for Reads SSI at age 67 $0.00 at age 72 $0.00 Disabity $0.00 Medicare $0.00
