Revenge of the Mummy opened.
Fear Factor (the show) opened.
The Seuss Trolley opened.
The Ghostbusters street show got cancelled.
Nickelodeon Studios is gone.

Are you able to bring bottled water and snacks into the Universal parks? I had heard through a friend that they do not allow people to do this. Is it true???

TIA.

I didn't think food/drinks were allowed; however, on my last visit, I seen a family sitting at a table in Universal eating sandwiches and pretzels out of ziploc bags and drinking from soda cans. So I guess they do allow this? Or maybe the family snuck it in?

As a Universal junky I have never ran into a issue with bringing out side food and drinkgs into this park or anyother park.

We bring in snacks to the parks we go to and Universal, Sea World, and Disney have no problems at all. There's no "sneaking" on our part. The bag-checkers will even joke sometimes about, "Wow, it's my lunch break, can I have some?!":p They're great and don't have no problem at all. Paramount's parks, on the other hand, are very strict about bringing any kind of food/drink items being brought in.

We take a napsack and load it up with sodas water, snacks....whatever. Never any problems. Disney gives us a problem if we sit down and start snacking.....we had one CM actually come us and ask us if bought our stuff at a disney park. To which my response was "sure...we'll go with that".

I did not know it was allowed. But now that I know, we will definitely be bringing some snacks/water with us to save a few bucks.

there's no express pass unless you pay for it now. That's a HUGE change which I'm not crazy about...

Same here. :sad1: Hopefully they do not do that with Disney's FastPasses.

Also, didn't Back to the Future close? I'm sad about that too, as I will be going to US next week, and I haven't been back to US since....'99??

Half of Back to the Future is closed (they had two screens). The other screen is still running so far and no one has a clue when its going to close for good.

Oooh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the heads-up - maybe I will get to ride it next weekend then! :)

I wish they would change Disney's fastpass to a purchase one. I might actually go and visit for a few days then!
