I have to wait till the 4th anyone else?

I already have a ress for Sept. 29-Oct.8 at POR. I have to wait till the 4th. Anyone else worried that there will be nothing available???? For those who did the free dining last year did availbility go fast????

No it didn't go fast, I think there was so many left over that they extened the deadline. I was checking the avability last year up until the day I went(Aug 27) and most of the resorts were still avaiable.

The did extend the promo last year so based on that availibilty didn't go fast.
However, it seems as if a lot of people this year will move their vacation to take advantage of the free dining and because it is so popular I would be a little bit flexible with resort choices and such.
But then again, there are probably more non Disney Visa holders here than are Visa holders.

Anywho, I guess my point is while it probably won't be sold out, you might have to be flexible with dates and resort choices

You're not alone. I'm having to wait until Tuesday too! I didn't have a problem booking last year over a month after the promo started. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we'll be ok booking Tuesday!!

We have to wait until then too. I just contacted my AAA ta and she didn't know about it. But she is going during that time period too and she's going to save a ton of $ on her trip. She's so excited and said that she will put me first in line before her other customers cause I told her, lol. I think it will be fine people are going at all different dates and times and I think there should be plenty of availability.

I have to wait until Tuesday also. BUT........I stayed up half the night planning out our trip and I called first thing this morning to book all of my ADRs. I also booked our package this morning at a pre-code rate of $4,796. The CM said to just call back on Tuesday and apply the code to my reservation. We're staying in the Family Suites section of All Star Music. Our aftercode price will be $2,000 cheaper!!!

You've gotta love a half price sale at the best place on Earth!

I have to wait too and it's going to drive me nuts!!!! I also have a ressie at POR for Sept 22-Oct 1 with AAA .......ugh! I know last year it didn't sell out fast, but this year sooooo many people have been watching for it so it does make me nervous about getting it. Hopefully worrying for nothing.

I just can't believe they are bringing back free dining!!!! I thought never in a million years they would do it again atleast so soon.

Another thing I am soooo happy about is that all my ADR's are already made!!!! Thank goodness!!!

That is what I want to be able to do, if I am lucky enough to get the free dining, I will cancell the two rooms and try and book a Suite.

I have read a couple posts on the DIS saying that they were not able to book the free dining with the new family suites.....so they may be including them.

FYI, I spoke with 3 different CM's on the TA line and was told that these have been excluded from the promo. We all know nothing is carved in stone but just a heads up.

GOOD Point! We're moving all four bedrooms around and doing spring cleaning to burn up some of my nervous energy and pass the time til Tuesday! Too bad it's DH that has to do all the moving.
