I am off next Sunday and looking at the long-range forecasts. I have usually gone in November and this year wanted to go late April/early May because I wanted warmer temps and longer days. So I find a 15-day extended forecast and it shows rain the 29th and 30th and temps of 81 and I am concerned.

Just once I'd like a triip to go perfectly. I know the forecast will probably change a dozen times before then, but I just get silly..... First warm weather vacation since Orlando in 1999, which was cut short because of a death in the family.....

Don't worry about what you can't control! ermeber Florida can have rain 1 minute and sun the next, besides this is a long range forecast and could change. Either way rain or shine you will be in WDW! and it should still be hot. I admit I also over obsess about the weather and check the long range forecasts as well. You will still have a great time!

I hear ya'

Last year I went to all the weather links from www.wdwig.com and I was discouraged at the rain forecast. The long range can often be way off. Last year the long range had it rainy a few days. Happy to report ZERO daytime rain! Only had about 30 minutes of rain at midnight once last year!

Disney can easily be done indoors and still do lots!

A couple weeks ago, the long range showed it rainy on our first MK day. BUMMER I thought, we have always had beautiful weather as we walk done Main Street USA first thing in the morning and to see rain for next week! YUCK! But the closer we get to leaving, the better the forecast! You'll have a great time regardless of the rain!

HAVE A BLAST! Sandra

Not to worry the weather changes so fast in Orlando and usually you end up with very few rain days....if any!;) Despite what you read about the forecast!!

We went down in late April/May a few years ago and by the time Mother's Day arrived we were ready to go home as the humidity was soooo high! And I understand your feelings about a death in the family as the last time (Nov/Dec 2000) we also had a death in our family and it's very hard......but I'm sure you'll all have a blast this time!!:)

Wishing you...:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

WOW! Last year we went to WDW in April and upon return we learned that dh's uncle died the day we came back. He was very ill before we left. I was told that he probably only had a couple weeks. I opted not to tell dh and just said that his uncle was very very very sick and the end was soon. As I get older, the TOP layer of family is passing away. The Circle of Life. Sandra
