I'm assuming that they knew her address, but figured out her DIS ID and then sent something to her with that DIS ID on it. I would also come back with another ID.

Wow, how frightening. I have met one DIS'er here in reality and there are so many more I would love to meet. It's scary to hear that someone would be harrassing you. I hope everything works out for you. What really upsets me is you felt you had to cancel your trip. I could probably live without the DIS, but I would be livid if I had to cancel my trip!!

Well, did the package contain something frightening or threatening? Is this person out to "get you"? If someone on here discovered my home address somehow, I'm not sure why that would "necessarily" be a bad thing and cause me to leave the DIS. *I don't know YOUR cimcumstances so I certainly am not in a position to judge how you should feel or how you should react.* Wishing you the very best!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I was the victim of a stalker in my 20s. It started with obscene phone calls and escalated into my being followed. I know only too well how incredibly frightening this is and how it affects all aspects of your life. For a short while, I even became a little agoraphobic, due to the stress I felt when I left my house, never knowing who was watching me. I was fortunate that they caught the person in my case. Can you believe it was a cop? He had apparently been stalking two other women as well! I hope there's a speedy resolution for you. And, especially sorry about your trip.

I agree. My guess is this stalker is someone that knew her and she previously had problems with them. A lot of people report everything (including me) A lot of us have time lines telling everyone when we will be in disney and share stories of where we will be and what we do with our lives. She probably doesn't feel safe to post here anymore for these reasons. I hope this stalker isn't smart enough to have hacked into her computer.
