I have the rotation menu for Boma if anyone is interested...

We will be there in mid-February and I'm interested in the Tuesday menu. I hope it's the same.

Has anyone been recently and is it still accurate??

All I remember is that we went on a Wednesday, last month and they had yummy ribs! :cool1:

I read that Sunday is a mixture of all the different menus, and is usually not the same every Sunday. I don't know if that is still true either. :confused3 Maybe someone else would know more???

Either way, I can't wait to eat at Boma!!! :cool1:

Yup, sunday is a whatever the chefs feel like day.

Does anyone have the current Boma menu rotation? Starting my trip plan for Oct now and would love to schedule Boma based on the menu

I only remember that my favorite times to eat at BOMA are on Wednesday and Saturday nights. They have the ribs, couscous with onions and bell peppers and the coconut curry chicken stew......

I can't wait until May 26!!!! WOO HOO!!!!

It changes all the time, so I don't think the current menu rotation would help you. We went in January, then went again in March and there were so many different items. The Prime Rib seems to stay, but the soups and salads change, as does the way the salmon is cooked. Things like the mashed sweet potatoes (called something else) or the Potatoes with Afritude or zebra domes stay, but when we look for favorite soups, we're disappointed, because they change so frequently.

Cheers!

I thought I remembered reading that there was a pretty standard rotation. As in on Mondays you could find these soups...

Hmmm... I dunno - we went on Saturday nights both nights we went to Boma, and, as my above post says, foods were different.

Maybe there's a seasonal as well as day-of-the-week rotation, and sometime between January and March, it switched seasonal rotations? That would make sense, though actually our biggest problem with Boma is that they offer items year-round that probably shouldn't be offered year-round. Some fruits are simply not flavorful all year long, and then it really diminishes the taste of the dish. So our biggest complaint is that the menu does not seem to be seasonally based.

Cheers!

search feature isn't working for me tonight.
Does NE1 remember what days Boma has ribs?
DS LOVES ribs and Boma is a must do for our family.
TIA :thumbsup2

I know its been posted alot but could somebody post the menu rotation at Boma? We leave Thursday and I'm trying to decide whether we should go or not. We have never been. Thanks.

I don't know about the food rotation.
However, we just dined there 2 hours ago, if you have any other questions. :wizard:

Oh -- tonight our server did mention there were spareribs on the meat section. So from that I got the impression it was a Saturday specialty. They were yummy too. Very cinnamony, but with a kick to them.

We just got back Thursday from 10 days at Disney and Boma is my all-time favorite restaurant so we usually go twice when we're there. This time around we went on a Wednesday and then the following Tuesday and they seemed to have different things on the menu.
Tuesday we had the ribs I believe the other poster was speaking about. They were absolutely delicious but were spicy. On the following Wednesday they didn't have the ribs but had a marinated flank steak - also very good.
They generally have "standards" that are always there:
-flatbreads with 3 different spreads (roasted pepper, olive and white bean)
-different salads
-about 5 different soups (such as butternut squash - delicious!, lamb stew, corn chowder etc)
- Fufu (a sweet potato mash - my 7 yr. old's favorite), couscous, coconut rice etc.
- a children's station with chicken strips, pasta and meatballs, mac & cheese
- prime rib (or other carving meat)
- DESSERTS (zebra's - mousse tarts, banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce - MY favorite, various tarts, cookies, flan, fresh fruit etc.

Of course, I'm probably forgetting things but it really is a wonderful buffet.

Enjoy!

Please tell me they still have the peanut butter rice. That was seriously my absolute favorite thing I'd eaten at WDW.

I didn't see it the last few times I've been there - but it sounds great!
