I have the rotation menu for Boma if anyone is interested...

I've seen many adults getting items from the "kids" area. Who knows if it's for your child OR you, and nobody should really care. The whole buffet is open to all... :flower: We LOVE Boma!!! By the way, I find Boma food very flavorful, but not spicy in a sense for being hot or overpowering.

I truly apologize but don't have time to page thru all the threads -
could you please give me a "heads-up" on the BOMA rotation
(am interested in that fabulous potato soup). I truly appreciate
it - thanks.

Trying to figure out our dining plans and, while any night at Boma is wonderful, there are a couple of items we would particularly like to have. I am trying to get a recent list of the menu for each day of the week. (I am aware of the old one from late 2003/early 2004, but feel sure that it has been updated.)

Thanks in advance if anyone can help! :flower:

Thanks. We have eaten at Boma's several times. We have a few favorites that we would like to try to arrange our PS to eat there on a night when they are on the menu.

They have had a definite menu which rotated daily. I am assuming they still do, but the latest one I could find was from very early '04, and might actually be older.

Anyone know if they still have the daily rotation of food offerings at each pod? :Pinkbounc

This is what has been posted in the past. There is no Sunday listed as that is Chef's choice supposedly...

When we first made our ADR it was for a Saturday night. I really wanted to go on a night that they had the different salmon, so I changed to Tuesday. The CM at Dining told me he didn't think they did the rotation anymore - they have salmon, prime rib, chicken, etc. each night. The sides and soups change. I figured we would go on Tuesday and if they had the salmon, great, if not, then it would have been the same any other night.

We had a terrific meal and enjoyed it very much, but they did NOT have multiple types of any meat. One type of salmon, one type of prime rib, one type of chicken. We all agreed that we would go to Boma for dinner again, but I would not plan my ADR around the rotation. It is from 2003 and I just don't think it is accurate.

Thanks for the info. We love the soups & were wondering if the butternut squash & tomato were on specific nights.

Hi all-- I did a search and found the Boma rotation listed several times, but I wanted to check and see if it still seems to be accurate. I really want to have their wonderful Chicken Corn Porridge  again on our next trip, so I want to make sure to plan accordingly. Can anyone tell me whether it's still served on Tuesdays and Fridays, as the rotation list indicates? Thanks in advance!

I haven't been to Boma in 6 months, but I just wanted to let you know that there is a recipe for that soup on Allearsnet.com. I make it very often-yum!

Thank you, Bird-Mom-- I've actually tried that recipe, but it seemed to me the measurements were off a bit. The soup tasted great, but there was too much potatoes and corn, and I thought that boiling the potatoes before adding them to the soup made them too soft. Have you had any of these problems? I haven't had time to play around with the recipe yet.

When we were at Boma in October they were NOT following the rotation that was posted on the DIS. In fact, the CM who made the ADR for me told me they don't follow the rotation anymore. You might want to phone Boma directly and try to find out when they will be serving your favorites. :)

Abra Cat, I did have the same problems with the potatoes being too soft. I cut them into small chunks and added them raw. I use about half a bag of frozen white corn, and I added more hot sauce. :wizard:

Thanks, I'll do that.

Those are the same changes I was planning to try. I'm glad to hear you had success with them.
