My boyfriend wears socks with sandals a lot in the summer. My mom loves him and tells everyone he's her future son in law, but the only thing she doesn't like about him is that he wears socks with sandals lol. But if that's the only complaint she has, then I don't think he has anything to worry about.

Hello. My name is Peggy and I'm a sock & sandle wearer. Not all the time, just when I REALLY need it.

See, I HATE shoes. I'm on all the "barefoot" threads. See my tag? So, I wear sandles all spring, summer, and fall (no socks). I put off shoes as long as possible. When there is threat of frostbite, I start wearing socks and shoes. . .but sometimes, before the winter is over, I can't stand it any longer. My feet cry for freedom. It's still too cold for sandles with no socks so my only alternative is: socks & sandles. Usually just a day or two is enough of a fix to get me through the rest of the winter.

I've never been a fashion queen though so folks who know me aren't surprised.

My 17yr.old DD asked for Berkinstock sandals and wool socks for Christmas!! Here I was in November..shopping for sandals, which I couldn't find at any stores at that time of year...finnally got them online and the socks I found at the mall....Berks and a pack of 3heather colored wool socks...Yup..she wears them to school all the time and it's kind of cold here! (But she does wear boots or sneakers when it snows!) I just hope she takes off the socks when it turns warm!
