BEST purchases:

- Park Hoppers instead of regular passes!!!!

- TGM membership - great advice

- Entertainment book 50% off - used car rental coupon, forget what else

- Mickey Paint Chips - okay, so these are not "purchased" but they are great

- ALL of my PSes/ADRs, etc - would NOT have known to do this at all I my family would have STARVED while there

- Hoop Dee Doo, Mother's Day Brunch and Princess Storybook Breakfast (see above)


OK purchases, but not GREAT for us:

- moleskin - took it but did not use it. I will pack it again, just in case.

- Crystal Light "to go" packets - we didn't use much, just drank cold water straight from our PURCHASED water in the parks (because we ended up not using the Brita bottles, below - LOL) I still have these in my pantry. I will pack a few again this time, just in case.


WASTED purchases:

- Brita filter bottles - Got several on ebay because people on here SWORE that they were the beast thing since sliced bread, used 1 once and we never used them in the parks. I will try to sell the rest back on ebay!

- Tranquil Tones Eye Mask from Discovery Channel - To use on the airplane - insert batteries and put on the cushy eye mask, but you can hear soothing "background noises". Forgot them. I will also try to sell these on ebay


JURY STILL OUT:

- Alamo rental this time instead of National - found out about the great rates here, but will not decide until after trip which category it goes in, depends on outcome

- AAA membership - bought to get a discount, then decided to stay offsite, but it could still come in handy

- Crocs - were actually a gift, but they seem good. But they are just TOO ugly. I am still deciding!


UPCOMING purchases:

- Photopass $99 cd - sounds great

- Disney movie of my trip, where you insert your photos - sounds great

- minerals-type make up. I cannot believe I just typed that!!!

When I first visited this site many moons ago I remember the walkie talkie suggestion and someone also suggested bringing a candle on your visit to burn in your room (safely, of course) and when you got back from vacation you could "relive" your time by burning the same type of candle.

Crystal Light Water Bottle Packets- I like having these in a dorm room in a lot of different flavors because it saves the space of making a pitcher of ice tea or lemonade!
